what you did is soo wonderful. I am an infertile and hope I don't have to move onto using a gestasional carrier in order to have a child, but am happy to know that kind and giving people like you exist.

Tell us more about you! It sounds like you've moved a lot..why? What do you like to do when you're not pregnant? How old is your son?

We like the adventure of moving. I grew up in Northern VA, stayed there till after college, moved to Baton Rouge, LA for 3.5 years, then to NYC for grad school, where I met my husband (who is amazing), when he graduated he applied at 5 different schools for a teaching position, LSU in Baton Rouge hired him. So I moved back. After a year we knew the program wasn't good, height of the recession, there was a LOT of talk of his department being dissolved (it's still going strong today) so he applied again, and was hired at Ursinus outside of Philly, but it wasn't tenure track. He actively applied at places for a tenure track position and Salisbury came up, and it fit. So we are here for the long haul. I'm not so secretly hoping that in 5 years he'll have tenure, I'll have finished my masters and we'll move to Europe.

When not pregnant, I like to ski and bike. I love cities and opera. Oh and eating I LOVE good food. I am not the cook in our household that is DH all the way, but I can bake the hell out of anything and am a cupcake making fiend.

DS is 3 going on, making me bald. He's not handling this move well and is missing his friends. He went to a Waldorf school last year that was beyond amazing, and I'm sad that he won't have a similar experience this year. I am excited for him to start school though, he needs the socialization.

Oh, and I'll be going to grad school, starting next year. This year I'll be working on brushing up on some areas where I feel I am deficient, like composition.

In what subject will you get your Masters? What does DH teach? And how did you find an H that cooks- I need me one of those!!

I'll be getting it in some area of education. I have to meet with a counselor first. There are several areas where I think I can rally utilize my strengths. DH teaches in the theater department, specifically set design. I found him on eHarmony a zillion years ago. And I always joke that he's so fantastic and he came that way and I have to thank my MIL for a lot of it, good and bad
