  • I want another dog too.  I just don't want it to learn the bad habits that my dog has now, so we'll wait.  I regularly think about what I want... a little black mutt from the pound, preferably that doesn't shed much.  I'd love a pitt/lab mix, but on the small side.  If it is a girl, her name will be Daisy* and a boy, Porter.

*H doesn't agree with my name choices.

  • yeah my IL's live on a farm and our dogs go there every day to play so they aren't cooped up in our house.

my husband would love another dog. my FIL would kill us if we brought another dog to the farm for doggy daycare everyday not that I really care...but they have 3 dogs and my BIL brings his two over.

the dogs outnumber the people most of the time.

  • I want a farm big enough to save like 50 dogs from shelters and have them run and frolick about an live out their days! Buuuut, I don't have a farm and it would be so unfair to bring another dog in to our house.
    This is totally me too!

  • 1) My sister has a Frenchie and she's freaking hilarious! I like to call her Stitch, even though her name is Reese. That should be self explanatory.

    2) I would LOVE to get another dog. Zoey adores other dogs (most of them), and I so wish we could give her a friend to play with at home. Alas, there is no way in hell we could afford the regular care and preventive stuff for another pet, let alone if something urgent happened.

And technically, the pets already outnumber the people, since it's just the 2 of us, but we've got 2 cats and the dog (and a fish). It's a good thing they're all spayed, or else the estrogen in the house would totally overwhelm DH!

  • @LuckyAngel07 I love both the names Reese and Stich for a dog!

we're all such animal lovers over here:)

  • All I know is that I never want another cat. Sorry to all cat lovers, but they are like the devils spawns next to dogs.

There were full sized greyhounds outside of target on Saturday. I really want one. How cute would it be to have a full sized greyhound and an Italian greyhound.

  • I love dogs and love the idea of having one, but with our schedules and general laziness, cats are more our speed. Plus our Kitten is a freaking spoiled princess and I'm not sure she'd ever be cool with us bringing a dog home to play with her.

ZOMG Husky puppy!!! Such fluffy cuteness!!

If you adopt him/her, be prepared for crazy energy and insane amounts of hair. Our neighbors have a husky/GSD mix, and you should see the fur tufts that come off her in the spring. The yard starts to look like someone blew up a fur factory. HAHA!

I know right? Our current dog is a cattle dog and didn't settle down till she was at least 5-6 years old. I figure I've got at least 9 months of pure rock solid training time available, so that helps (I'm not working now). The shedding will def be a lot since its hot here, but I looooooveeeeeee my central vac, it makes my life so much better. ( we prob have at least 4 dogs over every week with dinner guests!) it's gonna be a lot of work though, Awww :x
