I love that idea! I love bookmarks. I have dozens of them and enjoy getting new ones. I usually get one in my stocking from DH or in a book from my MIL. We should do a swap here, though I don't know if anyone would be comfortable with me participating. I'm still pretty new.

My pet peeve is a lack of punctuality, especially people that are a half an hour or more late repeatedly.

I don't usually use bookmarks. I typically flip right back to where I left off.

2) Pet Peeve? Oh man. I have so very many. Right now, let's say people who can't let you experience anything without saying "wait till you're a mom". Hungry? Wait till you're a mom and never have time to eat. Tired? No you aren't, just wait till you're a mom. Stressed? Nope, not until you're a mom. I'm sure being a mom is hard. I am still allowed to have emotions.

3) What bookmark are you using right now? If you only read ebooks or listen to audio books, tell us what you used back in the dark ages before all the e-gizmos. I am a naughty reader. I just turn my books face down with the spine open. I've got a pen stuck in one book as a bookmark right now though.

2. I have many. Egregious misspellings in something that is typed. Don't people wonder why that red squiggly line is there? It's the English teacher in me. Also, improper use of reflexive pronouns (myself, himself, etc.) really bugs me.

3. An engraved silver bookmark that I got as a Christmas gift from one of my students.

It irritates me every time someone in my office closes their door because of others talking at my desk. I sit in the reception area and have a big bubble around me of no walls, sound travels. We are a small office closing doors closes communication and sepreates us.

Whatever stiff piece of paper I have around. Right now it is a coated business card I picked up somewhere. My mom has made me some nice ones I just can never find them when I need them.

I always use the same three bookmarks. A picture of my oldest son as a toddler, a bookmark of him from preschool that says "I love you" and a bookmark my daughter made for me (she drew a really great snail). I use both ebooks and "real" books.

What's NOT my pet peeve? Just to name a few... People who can't park, people who can't use apostrophes correctly, people who breed/buy mutts instead of adopting a stray because they're "designer" (and anyone who knows so little about genetics to say that this prevents allergies), people who don't recycle, people who put milk in a plastic grocery bag, my neighbors, my neighbors' kids, people who are mean or disrespectful to waiters and waitresses...

Yup. Toenails. And I totally get clipping a nail here or there because one broke or got ragged. But this is just maintenance clipping, hahaha. I work in HR for a High School District. One of our payroll guys does it, and so does one of the accountants. This place is crazy.

2) Pet Peeve? Poor spelling and bad grammar. I just can't understand why some people are OK with looking uneducated on paper/online.
