BEN AFFLECK is the new BATMAN. UNLESS he directs it.

Personally, I think Ben is a fantastic director. I hate the idea of him playing a superhero.

The smoke alarms in my place started going off while I was cooking dinner. H couldn't understand why the kitchen seemed so smoky. I blamed it on the grill pan. Truth was I just wasn't paying attention to cooking because I was too busy responding to an epic text conversation.

My sister is getting married in the northern part of England next year. We'll be closer to Scotland than London and I'm spending more time trying to figure out how to steal away for an Outlander/highlands tour than helping her plan the most important day of her life.

Shaun has been out of town for work for almost a week so I came to stay at my mom's. we're leaving this morning and while I'm excited to see Shaun, I super don't want to leave. Between my parents and brothers and my ils all helping with the boys, this has been a vacation week and I don't want to go back to normal life.

My mom even took the hamper id been using and washed, dried and folded all of our dirty clothes. This is better than a luxury resort

I kind of hate that high-waisted pants/shorts are coming back. Granted, I will be happy to see less muffin tops, but I don't know if camel toe is a good trade off.

Same here. I don't really get into the superhero movies and even I can't see him as Batman.

He can just pull a Christian Bale and have a disgusting and totally awkward growly (sp? - or is it even a word) Batman voice.

My mom is coming next week to help us out for a few days after DS#1 has his Tonsillectomy,DH is working so much and can't change his schedule, I am so over her already, she is driving me crazy, I just want to tell her to forget it and hire a sitter, ugh.

I didn't look at myself in the mirror before I left the house. After realizing that my shirt was a little short on the bottom and low on the top, I am doomed to wear a sweatshirt at work all day. We really need a mirror on the first floor of the house.

My BIL has been snooping in my sister's FB and texts and found the conversation we had where I said he needs meds, so he unfriended me on FB. Tough cookies, dipshit. The truth hurts. For example, my sister has had a hard time finding a job, so my BIL decided to QUIT his "for the family." WTF, dude?? He also posts ridiculously lovey dovey crap on his page that was apparently the exact opposite of how he was behaving in person. My sister left him (again, apparently) on Monday and is staying at my mom's condo with the two girls. My sister and BIL both thrive on drama, though, so I'm not 100% sure my sister isn't a little crazy, too. I'm trying to stay out of it as much as I can, since the crazy seems to feed on sympathy in this case. Being 9 hours away helps.

Mine's lame but I skipped showering this morning to finish a book, I did shower right before bed but I feel gross but I'm so glad I finished my book.

If pants are tight enough to someone camel toe, i think there's some other problems that need to be addressed. like wearing appropriately sized pants lol

I'm listening to all my Pandora stations on random today. Yeah by Usher, Ludacris, and Lil Jon came on and I totally stopped working to have a dance party. I miss the early 2000's.

Totally agree! I've seen some girls pull off the look nicely, but most seem to miss the mark.

I am constantly over-booking myself. I want to do ALL THE FUN THINGS, but I need to remember to give myself a break every once in a while. I did a 5k adventure run after work last night, have happy hour tonight, tomorrow I am having lunch with friends, then have a pole dancing class. I've been to 7 concerts in the last two months, did two weekend overnight trips, a couple of runs, book club meetings, a few ball games, wino Wednesdays...ack!

It has also seriously cut into my reading time.

Your life currently sounds like my life pre-high maintenance baby. Sigh.

My friend bid on a group class and won it. So there's like, 20 of us. Should be an interesting night, that's for sure. I'm sure we will be dissolving into giggles throughout most of it.

Not much of a confession, but I think once this trip is over I am going to avoid my mother in law for a long while until I like her again. Because right now, I really really don't.
