This has been awhile! I don't usually lurk too much, I jump in but I have had a different SN in the past. I'd say June, is there a Boony? and Young_Love for sure.

3) What book was THE BOOK to be read when you were new? Twilight! ha

4) Were there any big nest scandals during your early days? Oh dear. Back on ML about 8 years ago when I had got married, I was THE TALK. mm hmmm. Things were out of control and spun way off course, I'm not crazy I promise. I am, in fact, "MrsBrack" :-h

2) Did anyone in particular motivate you to start posting? I think I had just finished Neverwhere and I loved it SOOOO much and didn't know anyone IRL who had read it, so I just jumped on. Booney was the first person I spoke to.

3) What book was THE BOOK to be read when you were new? Everyone was talking about THG series when I came on. Outlander was popular too.

4) Were there any big nest scandals during your early days? Wasn't really early days, but I was just talking to @84Lauren the other day about how she and @pinkybooklover threw down with the Twilight board when they invaded our board with a post called "I LOVE TWILIGHT". Major Dramz.

5) Were there any specific NBC happenings going on? Book bio, challenges, etc? All the usual stuff was happening. I remember jumping into a big Mockingjay discussion.

1) When you were a lurker/newbie, who were the "big posters"? A lot of the same ones as today. Eli, Booney, Julie, Jacki, etc. There are a few that don't post anymore, but for some reason I can't recall their names.

2) Did anyone in particular motivate you to start posting? I don't think so. I was just so excited to talk books with people. I cam here after I read Twilight as well, like a lot of others.

3) What book was THE BOOK to be read when you were new? Twilight was still being heavily discussed, but was probably starting to wane. Outlander, as always. The Help, Shiver.

4) Were there any big nest scandals during your early days? I honestly can't remember. I'm hoping someone else will jog my memory.

There was just way too much reading fun in general for me to keep quiet

It was relatively drama free back then (and now really)

Not that I recall. Later though, the whole changing of the guard when it came to the bookbio. That was a very diplomatic way to put it, yes?

The old school book bio. Historical fiction and more literary and women's fiction were more abuzz back then

lol! Oh I can't remember all of it. A few things I recall, apparently I had dirty underwear on the floor in a picture of my dog... it was not underwear, my DH skeeted on my dog (jizzed?), and I got pregnant to "fix" my marriage, which wasn't bad, apparently I complained about my new husband getting on my nerves or something.

Of course. It was a pretty new obsession when I first joined but it got out of hand quickly.

2) Did anyone in particular motivate you to start posting? I was stoked to see the famous YL was a book nerd too and decided to start posting because I figured after basically stalking her for like 4 years, I should try and become Internet besties with her. (This made me sound way creepier than I intended, but Junewhatevs)

3) What book was THE BOOK to be read when you were new? Jessica Darling series and Outlander. Breaking Dawn and the first Twi movie had been released already and making fun of it seemed to be the order of the day on the Twilight board. Well that and endless posts about fanfiction.

4) Were there any big nest scandals during your early days? It wasn't my early days but I remember throwing down with the Caribbean nesties over trying to sabotage our challenges or something.

5) Were there any specific NBC happenings going on? Book bio, challenges, etc? Book bio and challenges were a huge deal then too. I do remember the handing over of the book bio was a bit sticky but I don't remember the details.
