I'm reading American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America, by Colin Woodard.

It is super interesting but not incredibly engaging or well written.

I'm still reading "Queen's Gambit" by Elizabeth Fremantle. I like it but I'm having a hard time focusing on it. I'm also reading "Six Days in Leningrad" by Paullina Simons.

I am reading The Darkest Whisper by Gena Showalter. It is in the Lords of the Underworld series. I like how these have picked up. It is somewhere around 155 for the year. I also just finished the graphic novel Cubs in Toyland in the Fables series and it was fantastic.

155 books this year! That is awesome!

I just finished Shooting Scars by Karina Halle. It was #71 for the year. I enjoyed it but it had a cliffhanger ending that pissed me off.

I'm also reading An Abundance of Katherines by the fabulous John Green. I like it a lot, but I don't know if any of his books will live up to The Fault In Our Stars for me.

I started Silent Night, Haunted Night by Terri Garey last night. It's book 4 in the Nicki Styx series. I'm really enjoying this book and the series as a whole. It's #118 for the year.

Nothing $:\$ "> I finished Full Dark, No Stars yesterday, but I was feeling so icky when I got home yesterday I forgot to pick up Me Before You from the library. I'll grab it tonight. I guess in the meantime I can work on ASOS a little bit.

ETA: I'm so out of it this week. I thought I needed to grab it from the library by my house, good thing I didn't go there yesterday. It's at the one by my work, so I can walk there and pick it up at lunch today. Woohoo!

The Yiddish Policeman's Union by Michael Chabon

I've found it interesting so far, and the beginning has been a fairly quick read. I've never really thought of Alternate History as a subgenre of Science Fiction, so it's not quite what I expected. Much more Noir Mystery than classic Sci FI.

It will work for SuBC as either the NPR "This American Life" author or as a Hugo & Nebula winner. Not sure where I will end up putting it.

Oh, I'm also reading The Ocean at the End of the Lane, but only at home, because I don't want to carry my signed hardcover to/from work every day.

I just started reading the third UK Harry Potter book. I didn't start it until I had ordered GOF from Book Depository. I'm also going to start Shadow and Bone on Monday.

I'm listening to Heaven and Earth by NR. I have Storm Front by Jim Butcher downloaded and waiting for me.
