S/O Rereads

Re: S/O Rereads

  • I constantly reread books. I love try to get that feeling I got the first time I read the book.  I only count them in my goal if I read the whole thing without skipping over anything.  I've never reread a whole series all at once though.

  • I don't re-read a lot. But I have re-read Rebecca and The Phantom Tollbooth a bunch of times

  • I only re-read my absolute favorites.

  • I reread the Harry Potter series every few years but I rarely re-read. I may pick up a classic or something read in high school that I didn't love (or actually read like I was supposed to) but might like now. I've found that I appreciate things more as an adult. There are so many books out there, why limit myself?

  • I rarely re-read books.  I can probably count on one hand the ones I've read more than once.  There are so many books I want to read that I don't have to time to re-read.

  • I re-read to get out of a slump, or if I am in the mood for a certain book. I'll also re-read books in a series to prepare for the latest addition.

  • I re-read books A LOT!  I even re-read series a lot because I love starting over at the beginning with a fresh look knowing how it progresses.
  • I used to reread but haven't in the last 5-10 years really. My TBR is so long at this point I don't feel like I can justify going back to something when I have so many others waiting for me. I have several books I have intentions of rereading but I don't have immediate plans to do so.

  • I rarely reread. Too many good books I haven't gotten to yet. Really the only reason I did reread two of my favorite books recently (Jane Eyre and The Loop) is because I originally read them 10-15 years ago and couldn't remember them. I wanted to see if they were still my favorite books. (Yes, they are.)
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.
