I'm home today (I work every other day) and I'm currently avoiding finishing up cleaning the house. We have a ton of family coming into town this weekend because my brother is getting married on Saturday. My ILs arrive from OH in a few hours and I know that I need to finish cleaning.. but I don't want to.. DS will just destroy the place again before his nap anyway, so I'm better off waiting until he goes to sleep, right?

Working, I'm in meetings all morning today. My mom is heading over to my house soon, and after work I am going to make her my WORLD FAMOUS OMGSOTASTY creamy green chicken enchiladas and homemade spanish rice for her birthday. Yay for Mommy time!!!

Work is actually really busy this week.

I just found out that my department is moving into a different space in the building and I'm not sure I will be able to keep my cube. I might just have a desk. That might significantly impact my time on NBC

I am chasing the munchkins around. I need to do laundry at some point. I took them apple picking yesterday and would like to make apple pie at some point.

I'm avoiding calling work back. I'm on unpaid maternity leave for 12 weeks (didn't want to use my sick days) and they didn't get me a sub so all my case studies are just piling up waiting for me. Because I am taking the time unpaid and because they didn't get me a sub, I'm hesitant to call them back and work from home. Save it for November. Ugh.

I'm at work waiting for my next class to come in. I'm dreading working the high school band's after school rehearsal. I'm also dreading the middle school football game that my band is playing at tonight. Tomorrow night is high school football with middle schoolers thrown in with the high school band. If I can make it through these two days, I promise to sleep all day Saturday!

Working. Actually, I was just searching Pinterest for a recipe for dinner tonight. I have tilapia that needs to be eaten and 3 big beautiful tomatoes on my plant in the garden. I'm sure I can come up with something.
