I have tickets for the midnight show Thursday night! Sooooo dang excited. Plus, our movie theater has a full restaurant and reclining seats, so it's going to be a fun night.

I am hoping to go see it Sunday. I am still bitter I am not going to the midnight premier (damn kids!)

We are feeding the Veterans Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday- and I am trying to convince DH to go as a family as a thank you to the kids for participating (even though they love it). OK- I am really just trying to spin this so we can go. junewhatev.

We're seeing it on Thanksgiving. Our family goes out to eat on Thanksgiving, and we are meeting at 5pm, so I have the day free to see it. I'm looking forward to it.

I have tickets for the 8:30 show on Thursday and I'm pumped. DH is going too with a few of our friends and he's been asking what happens. I keep responding "READ THE BOOKS!!!!!!!!"

I wish I was seeing it right away, but the hubster and I are probably going to see it the day before thanksgiving together. I'm taking the day off to spend time with him since its his last day off other than thanksgiving and Christmas until January. No weekends!! So we are trying to fit it in then since the series is one he has actually read!

I'm going to wait a week or two, until the crowd dies down. That way I don't have to suffer through eleventy million a-holes chattering and checking their cell phones during the film.

We'll probably see it over Thanksgiving weekend or the following weekend. My parents are out of town so we'll wait until they are back and can watch DS. Much as I'd love to go to the midnight show or sometime this weekend, it's not feasible at this point. Oh well! Hope it's good.. CF is my favorite book of the 3, so I'm going to be really sad if it's not done well.

I didn't love it either. I am also completely irked that they are splitting the 3rd book into 2 movies. I hate this trend and I am ok not supporting it.

My mom and I are going to a matinee on Friday. We started this tradition with the Twilight movies and it's so much fun. When you go the day after, all the annoying teenie girls are in school. I have to stop thinking about it becase I'm SO excited!

There is a 10pm showing here on Thursday. I mentioned it to mh thinking I could go on my own and he could stay with Alex (who will be fast asleep). But apparently he wants to come. So I don't know how I will get to see this movie now.

I was thinking of going to the midnight show tonight, but I have the olds and can't be bothered.

I might go tomorrow though. You know, just to rub in the fact that I can! ;;) Hey, being in the wrong time zone sucks! I have to embrace the advantages when I can!

...I did walk past the local premiere last week. It was pretty cool. They had a DJ spinning live on the roof of the theater with a giant mockingjay projected above him and pyrotechnic flames set to the beat of the music. There were also a lot of people dressed as Capitol residents.

There's a HG/CF double feature going on at the posh theater here (assigned seats, fancy popcorn, microbrews...) so I might go do that (minus the beer, of course). I can't stand having to show up 2 hours early just to get a decent seat in the theater, I'm too old for that shit.

My husband does this all the time and it drives me insane, he tends to ruin movies for me this way. I think we are going this weekend, we're going to the movie this weekend no matter what but it's a matter of what we're seeing. DH said he preferred to CF over anything else out.
