What are you making for Thanksgiving?
What are you most looking forward to eating?
Who are you most excited to see?
Are you hosting? If not, where are you going?
Any funny Thanksgiving stories?
Re: NBR: Thanksgiving Poll
I spent it alone with my son and my dog. They did not eat their share of the pumpkin pie.
I miss big family thanksgivings. We haven't had one since my grandparents passed away in 08.
One year we had thanksgiving at the cottage. I showed up late because of work. When I got there I found out my mom was riding the little dirtbike I had as a kid. She did a nose dive and broke her nose and was hurt bad enough to go to tthe hospital. She was fine (not her first broken nose) but it gets brought up every thanksgiving.
Spinach artichoke dip- DH's parents are hosting and that's all they wanted us to bring
What are you most looking forward to eating?
Turkey, yams, and pumpkin pie
Who are you most excited to see?
Our niece!!
Are you hosting? If not, where are you going?
See above.
Any funny Thanksgiving stories?
Not much as an adult, but some as a kid/teenager. Kids' potty humor anyone??? One year my little cousin got a mini marshmallow stuck to his butt and we all laughed our heads off about his "dingleberry" for hours. I'm sure our parents thoroughly enjoyed it

I'm making crawfish cornbread. YUM.
Is it terrible to say my own crawfish cornbread?
My nieces and nephews.
We are going to in-laws about an hour away.
My family all in one space is ALWAYS funny.

This wasn't supposed to turn into a rant. Oops.
edited to add another thing I was making...
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
We aren't cooking anything or going to a house because we're going to hopefully watch the Lions beat the Packers on Thanksgiving!
If we were cooking, I'd be looking forward to stuffing and sweet potato casserole.
No fun Thanksgiving stories either but hopefully this year we will make one!
