    Favorites:  Pretty much any version of Carol of the Bells, TSO's Mad Russian Christmas, Dean Martin's Silver Bells, Frank Sinatra's Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

    Least Favorite:  Christmas Shoes.  I detest that song.  Feliz Navidad and Happy Christmas aren't far behind.

    i love most of the old classics-bing crosby takes the trophy for me all around. Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole etc.. i love the ones by u2 and wham.

     

    i hate mariah carey with a passion so she's my least favorite. and that goes for everything even regular songs.

    500 Comments 100 Love Its Second Anniversary Name Dropper

    The Christmas Waltz.  Especially by Sinatra.  My must album is John Denver and the Muppets.  I adore that one - it is the sound of Christmas for me.

     

    I don't know if I have a least favorite song.

    It's so gross when  you think about it.  I mean, the gist of it is his mother is dying and so rather than spend what little time he has left with her he goes out to buy her shoes she won't ever wear except in a coffin.  Commercialism trumps quality family time.  Ick.

    Fifth Anniversary 500 Love Its 1000 Comments Name Dropper

    I just sang Oh Holy Night in French (Minuit Chretiens) for our Christmas program at work and no matter how many times I rehearsed it and listened to it since September, it's still so very pretty.

    My least favorite is the one by Band Aid -- Do They Know It's Christmastime. It has just always seemed so patronizing.

    Yes! Yes! Yes! I remember listening to this with my mom and sister on our record player growing up. John Denver singing Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is probably my favorite. I also love Miss Piggy belting out "5 gold rings ba dum ba bum" in the 12 days of Christmas.  

    Between Miss Piggy and Beaker with his "meep meep meep meep meep", I die.  After 30+ years, I still love it, every single time. 

    My kids are teenagers now (my oldest stepson turns 18 tomorrow - yikes!), but our family still watches this, plus Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas and Christmas Eve on Sesame Street every year.  Can't wait for tomorrow night!
