Re: GTKY: Job
Do you like it? I do love the work I do right now. I really love being a Kin.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? I would love to switch careers and work in private as a kin/health promoter but the benefits keep me with gov full time. I am trying to switch departments to align my work with my interests.
TTC#1 July 2010 PCOS dx April 2011 DS born: February 21, 2012
TTC#2 June 2013 MMC Sept 2013 (partial molar), CP 02/2014 DS2 born: December 5, 2014
Do you like it? I do.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? If I could make money sewing and making crafts, I would do that. If I was younger (or more ambitious) I would probably get a law degree to help in advancing my career.

Do you like it?
95% I do. I guess that's the best I can ask for.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick?
I would love to be a SAHW or SAHM. other than that, I am happy working where I work, doing what I do.

Do you like it? Love what I do, hate that I do it for someone else. Absolutely love selling TS though.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? Professional traveler or an interior decorater/home design planner.

Do you like it? Most days.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? I often think about becoming a psychologist or marriage counselor, but my first choice would be SAHM.
Do you like it? Most days. I love my kids and my colleagues. I hate the politics and the fact that our town doesn't support teachers.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? I love what I do, so I don't know that I would change careers even with the option. I'd change some things about my job. If I HAD to do something else, I'd be a beer taste tester. ;-)
I like the people I work with, I don't like doing the job. My heart is not in it at all.
I'd rather be a teacher or if I had a never ending bank account I would open my own animal shelter.

98% of the time I love it. I love solving problems, fixing things, growing my staff/making them better recruiters and being strategic.
Nope. Can't think of anything else I'd rather do, other than win the lottery and spend all my time traveling.
Do you like it? If I have to work, yeah. I like what I do.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? I would LOVE to be a housewife... and by housewife, I mean cleaning, cooking, etc, not just sitting around all day watching trash tv and shopping! I'd also want to continue working our AdvoCare business bc I love that "job"
In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!
T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
I like it most days. I'd say about 85% of the time I like it, the other 15% of the time I want to bash my head against the desk.
Cat petter. I would love to get paid to go around to all of the shelters and love up on cats who need some love every day.
Do you like it? Every job has its days where you question it, but overall, I do.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? I'd be an astronomer. Especially if I didn't have to worry about the pay (which is pretty lousy).
BFP - 10/29/2016!!!, EDD - 7/8/2017
BFP 2: 7/7/2014 Beta 7/8: 115, Beta 7/12: 638, Beta 7/16: 3793, Beta 7/21: 21,625
Do you like it? I love working with the kids and mostly the parents, but I hate all the politics and paperwork the agency makes us do. I would love to be in private practice.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? Probably interior design or styist. But I think that I would get my feelings hurt and would always second guess myself.
Cinnabun and Junebug say, "Go Wildcats!"
I like how flexible my job is, but it feels pretty empty most days
I would love to have a farm that takes in old dogs that nobody else wants
"I DO NOT love that you think so many things revolve around you. I know you're bitter. I get it. But I'm over your feelings." The best person on the internet ever!
Do you like it? For the most part, yes. I really do enjoy editing, and I love my coworkers. Sometimes the docs who write our content make me want to rip my hair out though.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? I'd be a successful novelist/fiction writer.
B/w 1/8: betas 17,345, progesterone 25.6
Do you like it? No. But I only hate it 50% of the time, the other 50% I just don't like my job. Evicting people and being the bitch sucks.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? Cook and stay at home. DH suggested I start a baby food and/or catering business from home last night. Yea, okay.
Do you like it? Meh. The company is really good to us but the job itself is boring sometimes.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? Fantasy? Professional singer. Reality? Instructional Design/Training & Development. This is a lot of my background at my company and what I'm pursuing with my degree.
my read shelf:
Do you like it? Love it.
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? Professional organizer.
What do you do for a living? Medical Collections for a dialysis company.
Do you like it? Beginning of the year sucks for billing/collections. It's been rough
If you could do anything else, what would you pick? SAHM or getting paid for my crafting!
My Ovulation Chart

I'm an In Home Behavioral Therapist. I work with families in their homes to adjust the child's behaviors. I work with kids with mental health and social emotional concerns.
Do you like it?
I do...it's rewarding but it as hard as hell....and there's no real leaving work at work since I often work at home and work odd hours
If you could do anything else, what would you pick?
I have my Masters in Pre-k - 12 Guidance Counseling......its my dream, what I've wanted to do since I was 14...... so that is the eventual goal.....I want to be in a high school.....
Getting fit for IVF!
I have a Master's in school counseling, too. I'm only 9-12 though. I've pretty much given up on finding a job in a school, though. There are virtually 0 jobs in PA for school counselors.
What state are you in? Are the prospects better there?
no really
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
No. :P
Massachusetts is cutting budgets......thus firing guidance counselors, so even my new found behavioral experience isn't helping me break into the field
Getting fit for IVF!
Holy balls. 400? I can't even imagine.
Do you like it? I have been here for four months. I was always in the nonprofit sector before. Some things I really like. Some I don't. But it is close to home and affords me a much better work/life balance than I have ever had. And it pays more than I've ever made. So, I don't know.
What would I do? If I knew this, that would be helpful. I love aspects of marketing. I love real estate, but I don't love the unpredictable pay of that. So, if I could do marketing for real estate and/ or tourism, Id like that.
