  • Listening to Beautiful Ruins. I'm interested but not compelled.

About 1/4 through American Gods. Enjoying it but sometimes feels slow.

Reading This Song Will Save Your Life. Just began because I realized it was a library book and I don't know if I'd finish American Gods before it's due back.

There isn't a ton of action in the Casual Vacancy, but I thought the story was good. Just don't expect it to be a big page turner.

  • I just finished The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert last night.  It was ok.  Fictional story of the life of a woman who is a wealthy naturalist in the 19th century.  It took forever to read because I felt like there was no main driving force.

I'm starting Adriana Trigiani's The Supreme Macaroni Company today.  I love her books.

  • I'm reading a non fiction book I got for Xmas. _The Slight Edge_. So far it's ok!

I also just downloaded _The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden_ from the library.

  • I am reading EveryGirl and listening to House Rules.
They are 6 and 7 for the year.
  • I am reading The Book Thief, both for me and for WBC and Linchpin by Seth Godin for a work discussion group.  So far I am liking The Book Thief, but am in the middle and I just feel like something needs to happen soon.  I'm not far enough in Linchpin to comment either way, but it seems like it will make me think.

  • I have about ten pages left in Bel Canto and I can't bring myself to finish it because I am so afraid of what might happen.  Once I do, I'm going to read something light, probably a Nora Roberts.

I'm listening to Birds of a Feather (Maisie Dobbs #2) and it's just starting to pick up.  I like this series more than I expected to.

They are #3 and4 out of 100 and both fit into WBC.
