Re: How right are EPT tests???
So, SO much happens in the very earliest stages of pregnancy. Cells that will become vital organs are there and have been there multiplying faster than you know since conception. Did you get your baby drunk? No.... But if getting trashed and creating a less than optimal environment for cell division and development is a risk you were willing to take while TTC then that is your choice. Just like it's a parent's choice to do drugs while pregnant. I've cared for plenty of crack babies who've turned out okay considering, so I guess getting shwasted shouldn't be any big deal, right?

Way to kick a girl down! Geez. Ya I went out and drank too much. Do you know how many people say it can take up to a year to get pregnant? Yes we are TTC, but I didn't think I had to stop my regular life to do so. Now that I know I AM pregnant of course I will no longer and I will continue to eat better and take very good care of myself.. Girl, you need to learn when to keep your shit to yourself!!! Just ignore Debby Downer over there....plenty of people have the same thing happen - they don't know they are pregnant and were drinking before they found out, some don't even know for like a month or two, so you are finding out super early and can start taking care of yourself. Truth be told, that entire 2 weeks before I found out was during holiday season, so I was drinking then too - mostly wine. So yea, just see your doctor and I'm sure it's fine.

I actually did abstain from drinking for a few cycles while we were trying because I thought it would make a difference, but it just so happens that the month we were successful was during the holidays and yes, I was drinking. I wasn't even expecting to be successful that cycle, in fact, I had scheduled an appointment to move onto testing. Then surprise. I don't really feel guilty that I had been drinking - I stopped immediately when I found out and as a matter of fact, I can't even stomach the sight or smell of alcohol now. (or pretty much anything else)
I think MH just likes trolling this forum based on other posts I've seen.
