  I have 1 fur baby no humans Dh and I want 0 human babies

  Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!! my read shelf:

  How many do you have? (include names and ages if you'd like). 1 fur baby and one human baby.  Natalie is 6 months.
  
  How many do you want to have? 3, but if money wasn't an object I'd just keep having kids.
  
  Has your thoughts on how many you want to have changed since having kids? Not really. 
  
  Kid random... anything you'd like to share?
  
  I used to think I'd do foster parenting but my aunt had a very high profile fostering experience and it was so scary and a lot of headaches so now I'm not sure that it's something we'll do.

  How many do you want to have?  I think 3 is fine. 

   

  Has your thoughts on how many you want to have changed since having kids?  I'll start thinking that maybe I want more, and then WW3 breaks out over who gets to play with a specific doll or I have to literally yank someone out of bed to get ready for school in the morning or we have childcare hiccups and I doubt my sanity for having this many.
  
  Kid random... anything you'd like to share?  Bunk beds are super hard to make properly.

  Has your thoughts on how many you want to have changed since having kids? Yes. I wanted 4 children and had the spacing all planned out.  Then I had my first and realized that one was enough for us!  I still fantasize about having another, maybe when Claire is 10, but I doubt that will ever happen.  I've sold all her baby stuff and she is so fun and independent now.  I was not a big fan of the baby stage.  Possibly I would consider adopting or fostering a teenager after Claire is 18. 
  
  Kid random... anything you'd like to share? She has her first public speaking presentation at school today!  She has a poster board on the Humboldt Penguin that she has to present to a whole roomful of kids and parents.  I'm so nervous for her!!  Our family all wore black and white today in penguin solidarity.

  We don't have any kids yet, and we won't be TTC until 2016. I'm back in school, so we've decided to wait. Everybody (including people I don't really know who ask me if we have kids and I say no, we're waiting) think this is just the best thing ever. Apparently we haven't been married long enough yet, that's what people tell me.  

  I think we've finally decided on two. I used to want three, but that just seems like too many now, and two seems like such the perfect number.

  I have 3 girls:

  A&A - 5.5

  How many do you want to have?

  I don't know. I always wanted 3, but I think I wanted 3 pregnancies. I think I kind of want a 4th one, but not for a little bit. I feel like K needs a buddy I am sure it will be another girl too since we seem to be only making girls

  
  

  Has your thoughts on how many you want to have changed since having kids?

  Now that A&A are in K, and have a LOT of after school activities/homework, etc, I feel like we cannot possibly handle another, without completely neglecting all the other ones. Also kids are $$$$$$$! I thought it would be cheaper once they are in full time K, but they have more activities and need a p/t nanny (or afterschool care) and they probably cost us more per capita!

  A&A are FINALLY to the point where they can grab a book and read it by themselves for an extended period of time! This makes me SO happy!

  How many do you have? (include names and ages if you'd like) 2.5: Jaden, 7.5 years, Taylor, 6 years on vday, and Scarlett due 4/16!
   How many do you want to have? 3
   Has your thoughts on how many you want to have changed since having kids? I've matured x200, I got into reading again, I got into health and fitness, and I basically found what's important in life and who I am.
   Kid random... anything you'd like to share? School age is rough... bullies, sickness left and right, new friends, challenges left and right, but it's pretty cool to watch them growing up!
