Re: FRIDAY CONFESSIONS
So, about my vague "what would you buy with $100 on Amazon" response the other day . . .
Check out my new siggy ticker. I would buy either a new infant carseat, because the one I had for Tatum sucked, or a new breastpump because the one I had for Tatum died. Those are the only two big things I will need for this child - anyone care to recommend either?

CONGRATS! We used the Graco Snug Ride 35 car seat and I loved it.
For the breast pump, I have the Ameda Purely Yours. I don't love it, but then again, I don't think I'd love any of them...

Yay! Congrats!!!!!!
As for carseats, we have a Maxi-Cosi because it goes with our stroller, and it sucks big time. Stay far away. We also have a Graco, which was like half the price, ten times easier to install and use, and is rated for a higher weight so it lasted longer. I've heard that the Chicco Keyfit is so awesome it spoils you for all carseats ever after, but I've never used one.
For BPs, I am going to get a new one too so I'll be watching for recs.

We had the Chicco KeyFit 30. No complaints.
For a pump I had the Medela Pump In Style Advanced. It was recommended by my SILs and best friend. It worked just fine. Even used it off of batteries in the car a few times. It's not cheap though.

Congrats @SusieBW! How exciting! I'll second the Graco SnugRide 35. I like the Medela PISA pump but you should check with your insurance to see if they'll pay for a pump before you buy one. My insurance paid for 80% of the cost of my pump.
