• I LOVE the infant car seat! It's so convenient but she's been on the last strap for a while and it's getting harder and harder to strap her in. The infant car seat I have has a weight limit of 22 lbs and I think she's over that. I should try to weigh her somehow and then see if I can still keep her in it for a little longer.

LOL @amccul20 I have 14... 9 in my ears, 2 in my face (nose and Marilyn), belly button... and one above my belly button and one below. Does that make sense? Should I have done a TMI warning?
Haha I could see how you would be worried about that one...lol I would just take it out once the swelling starts (it started around 36 weeks for me) and then just put it back afterwards...hopefully. I would think if you're pieced where I think you are (in that region), it should be out of the way enough not to be affected. I'll keep my FX for you. Lol ;)

• Nothing's popped yet, but I'm only 19wks and I've only gained two lbs. I was wondering aloud about the belly button thing to DH the other day. He thought I was weird. As for sleeping it sucks. Period. I have a body pillow which has helped, but in general it just sucks.

Weigh yourself without her, then with her and subtract the difference. Voila- baby weight.
• Ok I have one. Not really flame worthy but I feel like a dumb dumb. So we are going to finally move DD to a bigger car seat and I'm planning on buying a convertible one so that it lasts. Anyway, from what I've seen you can't carry those car seats our of the car, which means I will start having to take DD out of the car seat Everywhere we go. My question is, since DD doesn't sit yet, how will I be sitting her if we go out to eat or to the store or something? Now she usually just stays in the car seat when we go out to eat and stuff. Sorry for the dumb question.
Can you wear her when you go to the store? I always used the car seat and rarely wore him, but then I noticed a flat spot at the back of his head. I started taking him out of his infant seat to go in a store. We switched to the convertible seat when he was about 6 months. As for what to do at restaurants, why not just use a high chair from the restaurant? She's sitting up, right? Just not on her own? There's no better way to teach them than to let them practice. It sounds silly, but when he was learning to sit up, I would prop him in the corner of the couch while I sat with him! We have one of those shopping cart seat covers and we use that for him and it gives him cushion and a little stability. So if I didn't wear him, I would put him in the shopping cart seat. He leaned a little, but he learned.

• @pb&fluff We prop A on the couch next to us too. And I have her sit facing me in my lap a lot to practice using those abs. Practice makes perfect right? :)

• @pb&fluff, you know that is very true I hadn't thought about that. She sits down for a little with my help but then decides to throw herself backwards lol. I will be getting the new car seat Friday and I plan on wearing her when I can but I'm also going to be getting one of those shopping cart covers you mentioned to try that out as well. And to the restaurant thing, I can also take like a bumbo chair too right?

@blueeyedblossom, yeah I've thought of that but I need to go out and buy a scale. Lol.

P never really liked the bumbo. I preferred to let him sit in the boppy (I put a pillow under the back part so the back is higher. Any time I got a chance to sit with him on the floor, I would sit with my legs in a V and plop him down and let him try to sit up.
