    I know nothing about basketball let alone college basketball/March Madness. I can hardly wait until it's over.

    We are a "watch Disney movies when you are sick" family.  The last two times Audrey was down with a fever, we watched Monsters University and Frozen.  It's the only time she will sit still.  Now she climbs on the couch and says "Frozen on TV?"  Oh boy.

    I was listening to the radio on my way to the office Tuesday listening to all of the crazy people lined up outside stores to buy Frozen (Target has the Blu-Ray on sale for $20).  The radio was saying it was a madhouse and stores everywhere were selling out.  Absolute insanity, on the Black Friday Furby-snatching scale.

    I went to Target during my lunch to pick up a prescription and they had completely full displays in several locations around the store.  I have no idea what was going on in the morning.  Was the radio lying?

    @ZeusLBA I took my sister to a Def Leppard concert 2 months after she gave birth to her son.  She even managed to catch one of the roadies eyes while dancing around and swishing her long blond Rapunzel hair and he was kind enough to make sure we got to the front of the stage.  My sister was all giddy because she got to touch Joe Elliot.

    I have been working from home the past two days because I'm sick. I was doing some work from home this morning and planned on going in later, but my boss said not to worry about coming in. I wish I could work from home every day. MH just texted me saying that Mockingjay is coming out on his birthday this year and I got him to agree to a Hunger Games themed party. I can't wait!

    @lauren620 - Feel better!!!

    Ditto.

    @duxcaelo I resisted for a long time but finally watched it on a flight. I was alternately crying and silently singing along. I'm sure the other passengers were questioning my sanity.
    Excellent! It sounds like I need to pick up a copy!

  • @ZeusLBA if you have a c/s (my first was an emergency c/s, my second a planned c/s) you won't be cleared to drive until 4 weeks after your hospital check-out day, and walking was miserable for a couple weeks and stairs made me cry for at least a month.  I couldn't imagine going to a stadium event with all the stairs and walking and jostling people a month after.

    If you don't have a c/s, I have no experience and no advice.

    Same here. I wouldn't recommend it. Also, is she planning on BFing? If so, it might be a pain to attend the concert, given that she would probably need to pump or feed the little one in that time frame. To each their own though.

    I think I have screwed up by bad knee somehow. Stairs hurt like you wouldn't believe. Not fun!
  • I think I've found more food that I'm sensitive to that causes a good deal of inflammation. I'm bummed.

  • I've been doing really well at sticking to my workout regiment lately and have improved my diet a lot.  I feel a lot fitter but I still weigh the same.  Its a total buzz kill.  :-<   I'm so tired of chicken breast.  I just want to eat all the macaroni and cheese the world has to offer without gaining a pound.  Is it really too much to ask?

    I actually had a cs with my first which wasn't an emergency so I may have one with this one even though I want to try for a vbac but who knows what will happen. You're right though about the recovery. Thanks for the heads up!
