I was listening to the radio on my way to the office Tuesday listening to all of the crazy people lined up outside stores to buy Frozen (Target has the Blu-Ray on sale for $20). The radio was saying it was a madhouse and stores everywhere were selling out. Absolute insanity, on the Black Friday Furby-snatching scale.
I went to Target during my lunch to pick up a prescription and they had completely full displays in several locations around the store. I have no idea what was going on in the morning. Was the radio lying?

MH just texted me saying that Mockingjay is coming out on his birthday this year and I got him to agree to a Hunger Games themed party. I can't wait!

@ZeusLBA if you have a c/s (my first was an emergency c/s, my second a planned c/s) you won't be cleared to drive until 4 weeks after your hospital check-out day, and walking was miserable for a couple weeks and stairs made me cry for at least a month. I couldn't imagine going to a stadium event with all the stairs and walking and jostling people a month after.
If you don't have a c/s, I have no experience and no advice.
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."
- Neil Gaiman
