Finished Magic Bites (Kate Daniels #1). I didn't really like it, which surprised me. I gave it 2 stars and I won't conitinue with the series. Kinda makes me sad since I had high hopes for it.

The first book is awful. The series gets better and better though. I can't wait for the next book.

Yes. I almost gave up after book one, but I'm glad I came onto NBC and complained because they made me keep going. I kept reading and now the series is one of my favorites.

Hmm, now I'm wondering if I should give book 2 a try before I give up. My friend is reading them and loves the series. It was just hard to get in to and I was lost through some of it.

You totally should! It gets SO much better. It really feels like a different person wrote book 1 than the rest of the series.
