  • I'm reading The History of Love. I'm only about 25% in, but I'm really liking it! I'm looking forward to lots of traveling this weekend, which means lots of car reading time for me!!

I am reading Fragments by Dan Wells (Partial #2) @BabyRN2006 when does it get better!!! I am so disappointed with this book right now, I loved Partials and, I am sorry but a book that doesn't get good until 300 pages in is JUST ANNOYING!

I had planned on reading Partials, but this is discouraging.
@MrsJenE partials was REALLY GOOD! I also hear this is really good, just took a long time to get in to (I hope it is worth it!)

"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
    "I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”

  • I read about 30 pages of Attachments last night before totally conking out.  In 30 pages I think I LOLed 10 times :)

    It's slippery as waterweed.
  • I just finished A Witch on Parole by Debora Geary and immediately started The Grapes of Wrath for my IRL bookclub. I'm going to have to whip through that one this weekend because we meet on Sunday. Forgot which week it was....

  • I'm listening to The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry.  I like it so far.  It has potential for me to love it.

I've only been reading before bed lately, and I've been so exhausted I rarely read more than a few pages before I have to set my book down.  That's why it has taken forever for me to get through The First 20 Minutes by Gretchen Reynolds.  After the Ellen Raskin post this week, I set that down and started The Westing Game.  I'm barely 20 pages in, but at least I should finish this within a week.
  • I'm reading The Last Founding Father for the Presidential Challenge and Crossed by Ally Condie.  They're #s 20 and 21 for the year.  My goal is 52 so I think I'm doing pretty well!

  • I have just barely started A Constellation of Vital Phenomena by Anthony Marra.  I LOVE the title of the book.  However, I am not too sure about the book itself.

I am also working my way through Blood and Thunder: The Epic Story of Kit Carson and the Conquest of the American West by Hampton Sides

These are books #51 and #52 for the year.
I thought A Constellation of Vital Phenomena was very beautifully written but also very hard to read.

  • I'm a little bit of the way through If I Stay. It's a pretty quick read.
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

  • I'm almost done with Dubliners by James Joyce and just started The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.  Both are for SBC.

I'm reading A Modern Witch and its okay so far.  I think it's around number 15 for the year.  Glad you liked London and glad you had nice weather since it rains a lot there.  Did you get much reading done?
Yes thanks :) This was my 3rd time there but dhs first so yes i love it, he now does too. Im part english so its a bit of a heritage thing for me as well. We were lucky with the weather. The day after we left they had a 5 day rain stretch. Nope almost no reading at all. I read on the flight home a bit but not all that much.
