Feeding into OP's drama isn't being helpful or supportive of her. Is being rude/blunt helpful either? Probably not... But did anyone read the whole damn thing? I mean c'mon.

At a certain point, it's hard for a patient to see any good in what doctors, nurses, etc are doing for them just as it is hard for doctors, nurses, etc to remain sympathetic to certain kinds of patients (and their assholish families). I hope once she's able to fully recover she can look back and see why maybe some things were done and how she could have better handled herself. I'm sure it was a learning experience for the staff as well. It's not every day you have to deal with that much drama, and believe me when I say there is a lot of drama in all areas of nursing.

I'm curious as to how the NICU staff was treated and felt about this whole ordeal. I bet it was interesting.
