Re: 3T Check In
I mentioned to my acupuncturist that my period is normally 1 heavy day and then light to spotting for 2 days after, I considered this abnormal but my OBGYN nurse said it's fine just don't brag about it. Well FINALLY someone agrees with me that NO it is not normal. SO after doing some acupoints I have had 2 very light days but at least it still counts as menses and not just spotting.
Moral of the story... acupuncture is actually helping me!
QOTW: I lost my virginity at 16, it was so awful and such a mistake... If I had waited 3 more months I would be able to look back and say I lost my V to someone I know and wouldn't be so embarrassed. I lost it to some low life guy that I hooked up with for a few weeks and we were both drunk as could be and he was TINY. I just tell everyone IRL I lost it to the 2nd guy because at least then there was a little bit of a relationship going on.
AW: I'll AW my DH, he is stopping by my office to drop off paperwork for my boss and is bringing me a salad from one of my favorite deli's by his office.
2nd AW - I ordered a tankini bathingsuit from Lord & Taylor, got it last night, covers all of my boobs (ladies with big boobs will understand this) sidebook, cleavage, full chest coverage, underwire the whole package. Best part! I got it with a coupon and only paid $40.

Good news is we were able freeze 12 of the highest quality blasts today.
Bad news is I officially have severe ohss and am now in the hospital. Really really bad few days including a vaginal drain of 2 liters with a 2 foot long needle. Man it's been a hell of a week!

@FutureMrsWright2012 - I'm sorry about the lack of frosties. I know how frustrating and disappointing that can be. I am hoping so hard that your embies stick!!
Update: Adoption seminar was interesting. It opened my eyes to things we had not considered (BM who is incarcerated gets great medical care), but there are some things I really really really had issue with. The presenter told us to "honor" the name if a BM gives a name. She suggested making it a middle name. Um, I have the long-term plan in my head. Caroline Mercedes-Benz Poppies won't get elected president, yo (ETA: this was the example the presenter gave).
ETA: I want to clarify that this is solely based on Freakonomics' assertion that names DO impact jobs. It's not right, but I can't change what's presented. All I can do is continue not to judge someone by their name and other factors and teach my child to do the same. However, I can't depend on everyone else to do the same, and if I can protect my kid from this, I will. There are all names we would never use. If it's a boy, I couldn't even some "traditional" names (like Jack, Ryan, or Cole) for a variety of reasons. I don't think DH and I should be forced or guilt-tripped into keep a name we don't like just because it will be "better" for BM, who will probably naturally fade out of the openness so that she can heal.
QOTW: 18 to a fucking asshole. It was an awful, stupid mistake. The whole thing really screwed with my confidence and ability to build relationships with men. I had big trust issues with men in college thanks to that jerk. Thank God for DH.
I had a tough day yesterday with the weight loss stuff....it doesn't matter how "fit" i get...if the scale doesn't move then the BMI wont move and I cant get started.....its driving me crazy
Still getting on DH to get his tests done...genetics and SA....my genetics test that they do for every single patient came back as a carrier for Cystic Fibrosis so we are just going to check. all Embryos will be checked prior to transfer also. I know its quasi controversial but I figure its better than an amino
QOTW: I lost my virginity at 16 to a guy that I didn't actually care for at all that was a huge amount of drama with in my life....second man was better but a ton of drama. DH was the first man without drama that I slept with.
