B Born 6.27.13
Currently on Metformin and Synthroid
EDD: 6.15.15
BFP - 10/29/2016!!!, EDD - 7/8/2017
DE IVF ER - 12/2/2016 (17R/10F = 8 frosties); FET 1.0 (1/27/2017) - BFP 6dp5dt (EDD 10/16/2017)
My first BFP was actually much like this, except I didn't get betas done until the u/s at 7w. There was nothing to see at the u/s anywhere. My bloodwork seemed to indicate it was ectopic. I actually did end up miscarrying on my own, but I also took the shot just in case (the shot is methotrexate. I was not educated on anything at the time. Had I been, I probably wouldn't have taken the shot since I did miscarry). I didn't have a tube rupture and only had some minor dull aches/cramps. I have questioned with every dr since if it was ectopic or just in the process of miscarrying at the time of u/s. They all concur it was likely ectopic, even though we never actually found anything in my tubes to confirm this.
In any case, I hope that you can begin to move forward soon and look to the future. I know it's hard to do so.
((Hugs))
B/w 1/8: betas 17,345, progesterone 25.6
You deserve the trip! What a great brother.
Cycle 8,9,10 - 50mg Clomid - BFN
I had a disappearing pregnancy. They thought it may be ectopic but it just kind of disappeared. Nothing more than a *tiny* bit of dark brown spotting. Pregnancy doesn't always make sense or follow a normal route.
I hope there is some peace after all this. You've had a rough journey.

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."
