It's the last goat show of the year. And one of my BFFs is getting married.
Here's my plan, I'm crazy:
Tonight: DH and I will stop at the hospital and visit his grandpa that had a growth (possibly cancer) removed from his kidney. They got all of the growth, FX no cancer! Then drive down to BFE Minnesota and camp for the show at 9 am.
Saturday: Show, show, show then leave around noon (hopefully I'll be done showing.) Drive 3 hours back for my friend's wedding at 430 stay have dinner, stop at the farm take care of the animals at home, back in the car 3 hour drive back to show to camp and day two 8am.
Sunday: Show, go home, feet up. DH gets sucked into NFL vortex.
I was thinking to myself don't be a crazy person, but then I was all like, "This is the last show of the year!! I CAN'T MISS THIS!!!!!!"
Sat: Making brownies for a potluck dinner, dress fitting for my BFF's wedding, H's work potluck dinner
Sun: Cleaning and tidying up the guest room ready because SIL and FBIL are visiting next weekend
EDIT: I can't believe that i forgot to mention that I'm on iPhone watch today. Both mine and H's phones are supposed to be here by 3pm. We preordered so that we wouldn't have to camp out at an Apple Store.
Not taking a lunch today so I can meet my brother at the brewery around 5 to visit dad and fill up growlers. Leftover chicken tortilla soup tonight & netflix, probably bed early since DH works tmrw.
Get errands done while DH works, then IDK! Maybe go to the apple orchard or just drive down US40 to check out the foliage and get a little lost.
Football sunday, but the Bears don't play till Monday night so I'll probably do my own thing that day. I really want to make beef burgundy, but DH doesn't like mushrooms so it's going to take some convincing. It's my favorite dish to make!
Today I plan on relaxing until probably close to 1 or 2. (Maybe a bit earlier if H talks me into going for lunch with him) Then, running to the post office and getting ready for work till hopefully 7ish.
Tomorrow, we're meeting up in the morning with someone that is buying H's old kindle. Since he has his new tablet, he really isn't using the thing that much anymore. So, that'll be some extra spending money for next weekend. After that, we're probably not doing much of anything except getting some stuff done around the house.
I know one of our tentative plans for the weekend depends on the mail today. We're going to the renaissance faire next weekend and both H and I ordered costumes. Mine fit pretty well. His was a bit snug, so he ordered a new size which is showing up today. If that doesn't work, we get to go on a bit of a DIY spree for the 27th.
Today: Lately I've been modelling my wedding dress for a couple up and coming photographers so they can get practice shooting Bridal (here is a link for the first batch I posed for). I'm modelling this afternoon and I'm so excited! I love my dress:)
Saturday: working at the library and then shooting a wedding. D's grandma is hosting early (Canadian) Thanksgiving but I obviously can;t go.
Sunday: we think a raccoon may be trying to get into our attic so we are planning to inspect the whole exterior of the house and critter proof it.
haha, Evan, my dress was so big on top that I could fit my fist in there with my boobs (even though the sales lady told me I'd be a perfect fit when I ordered it). Now my boobs fit in better but my butt, thighs and hips are pretty much busting out!
Busy weekend ahead! Tonight is dinner with my family before my sister goes back to Georgia, then home to record my podcast. We're doing our first interview and I am so nervous! Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'm going to a street fair my coworker organized, then out for drinks for H's birthday. Sunday is up to the in-laws house to celebrate birthdays for H and his twin brother.

Today, H took off to continue the dead mouse in closet hunt. Since he's taking everything out of the closet, I'm using this opportunity to get rid of some stuff to prepare for the move. We're also going to go to Target for diapers and much needed food shopping. If O cooperates, we're going to the plumbing supply store to pick out a toilet and vanity for our half bath!!
No plans tonight, continuing the fight to keep O in her cradle and out of our bed.
Tomorrow, I don't know. Maybe getting paint for the house. I may hang out here with O and send H to work at the house. We'll see.
Sunday is supposed to be gorgeous, so something outside as a family. H agreed to watch less football since the Jets are playing Monday night (I guess we're enemies on Monday @ramstein1027)
We don't have anything going on this weekend! I'm so excited to hang around the house all day tomorrow. Sunday we have church, but nothing planned afterwards.
H does all of the errand running on Monday with the baby so I don't have to do anything on Saturdays. It is kind of glorious.
Rest of the weekend - mission: get adjusted and survive motherhood. This includes taking care of myself from surgery. I already need a stool to get into my bed because it's too high. And the dog has no idea what to do with the baby. He just stares at her with his toy in his mouth.
Tonight- dinner at restaurant of Hs choice since he survived being home with the baby the past two weeks while I went back to work
Tomorrow / Sunday - breakfast at 9 am with a friend then hitting the road with T and visiting some friends in central ny. Stopping at one town about 2 hours away, staying for a few hours then continuing in another hour to different friends. Staying over night with them and going to the circus with them the next afternoon. What's great is this second stop is to visit a family I used to babysit/nanny for when the kids were infants. I've stayed in touch with them, the girls are now 14 & 12 and were in my wedding party 2 years ago...can't wait to see them with the baby!!!
