What is the weirdest or most exotic food you have ever eaten? Where were you when you ate it? What did it taste like? Would you eat it again?

I am adventurous and will try anything once!

We like to introduce people to sweetbreads (anywhere we go where it is on the menu as long as the place looks decent)
    Bone marrow
    Foie Gras
    Durian

I would like to try a Century egg.
Oh god I love foie gras.  I think my H and I would enjoy dining with you and your H.
All yummy! Still not eating a 100 year old egg.

  • I think the 'oddest' I've ever had was venison. I ate it at my father-in-law's house, and it was from a deer he had hunted. Very tasty.
  • @poppies717‌ how was France? I would LOVE to go someday!

I would probably try a bite of a 100 year old egg, but I'm not sure I would eat the whole thing.

@seahorse01‌ how was bone marrow? Was it like eating a piece of fat on a steak?
I've never had sweetbreads, but I would totally try that! What is the best way to have them (fried, grilled, etc...)?
