@goatlady12 I am so sorry about your uncle and how you are feeling. Like @kittenwine said, it's not your fault that he fell. He could have fallen anywhere. At least people were around when he fell and he wasn't laying on the floor for a while injured and unable to call for help.

@kittenwine the bank finally got an appraisor out to the property. They said that it didn't pass their criteria because it doesn't have a bathroom on the main two floors. (It's in the basement. It was something we were looking to add on in the future) The realtor is trying to work his magic and see if he can go over that.

I am back! TN wasn't letting me log in for some reason, but I reset a couple things and it seems to be working again. So I could see the discussions but not comment on anything. :P Big hugs to everyone who is going through some not-so-stellar stuff right now.

As for me, things have been fairly uneventful. H and I are still NTNP, since I can't be arsed to track anything. House - buying plans have been put on hold because something got messed up with H's paycheck withholdings last year, and we consequently owed $4000 in taxes. OUCH! So it'll take awhile to rebuild our savings from that mess. And H got an earful from me about keeping better track of his side of our finances.

Oh, and I just went and cut all my hair off. Here's a before and after!

I've been trying to update you guys on my stuff but TN keeps crashing on my phone so, I had to wait for Chalupa to take a nap. Things are looking up. My uncle is going back into transitional care and after a few blood transfusions is more mentally stable than he has been in years.

I'm about 2 1/2 weeks from starting to take my nephew for daycare. It's looking like my sister is going to have me watch her 5 yo also. The 5 yo, K, does not handle change very well at all. She didn't want to take her out of her current daycare, because like I said change is VERY hard for her. However, K is having issues at daycare with a bully, so it looks like changing her routine might be the better option. Also DH won $500 at bar bingo! Things are looking up!!
