Re: Weekend Plans?
Success!!! When my H and I went to lunch on Friday I pointed out how hot and miserable it would be to trim trees in July and asked if it could wait until September. He told me it was no hurry and agreed it would be better to wait for cooler weather. Phew!
@Xstatic3333, thanks for the info about leaving major tree work for the fall or spring. I am all for that, when possible!
Our biggest problem is actually how small our yard is - it's so tiny that there isn't much room to rent big tools to help us gut the area so it's all by hand. And the previous owner laid that black weed barrier fabric over the entire backyard and it was ripped in so many places that now we have to dig down and tear it all out. I've been working on doing 20 minutes a night after work lately just to make some progress. We had one area totally cleared last year and the stupid weeds came back with a vengeance this year!
