My husband does this too. The only time it really bothers me is if he does it in front of family or friends. He will be talking to to someone and put his hand down his pants like it's no big deal. Then I'll say something because that is just gross.

Are you his mother, or his wife? And by "having his hand down his pants", I have to assume that you mean he's resting his hand inside his waistband and not actually groping himself, right?

Hell, I've sat like that on occasion. It's a surprisingly comfortable way to sit, especially after a big meal or no armrest.

I so do not get why this is a big deal.

Too funny!! My H does it ALL THE TIME. I'm sure much more than OP's H. We'll be having a conversation and he'll have both hands down there doing who knows what! This is only when he's actually wearing pants, when hes home, %90 of the time, hes naked! Sometimes I even have to tell him to take his hand out of his pants so I can lay down on his chest. - And no, it doesn't bother me one bit. He does not do this in public, so I don't mind.

Mine does that too. It has been bothering me and I have been bringing it up. He isn't really apologetic and I think he can't stop doing it. It's just natural or something. I do ask him to wash his hands and he's fine with it. I am trying to figure out a way to get over it, but it's distracting to me.
