Is it just because it's not "cool" to try out for AI? Is it because "oh there's no way you're good enough"? I'm not understanding why we should not have been supportive.

The fact that I hate AI with a passion and want to burn down the studio probably does make me view it as not cool. Even if you are a good singer, I think trying out for a teen idol show is weird. I know SB is slightly younger, but I still think of her as an adult. And I don't think of people who try out for AI as adults.

"leaving her mom with her ex". her ex and mom were willing to live together when all three were there. you can agree that it is best for her to move out especially if they are both seeing other people, and then it is the choice of the remaining roommates to decide their living arangement. it may be effed up, but it is not moo's responsibility alone.

I couldn't care less what Moo does in her personal life. She makes decisions, no one hear approves, lather, rinse, repeat. Old news.

now, Coley, you need a mothereffing lesson in literacy. There was no mention of a new man (although i hope there are actually several because i'd like to have a MOO'S A BIG SLUT thread)

I also don't get why fenton thinks it's a bad move to audition unless she's heard SB sing and she sucks.

I agree. No one is making either of them stay there! Extended stay hotels are like $150 a week. I think it would be worth the money, and they could even split the cost to make it cheaper for everyone. But if they're not making that choice, how is Moo supposed to change the situation herself?

It's not some random roommate, it's her mother who would not have been living with them in the first place if she hadn't birthed Moo. Now I would agree that her ex is bsc for not kicking them both out at the first sign of a third party.

That's cool. I actually haven't watched the show since the first couple of seasons, but I don't consider it a teen idol show since it seems like most (adult) people I know are into it. If it's a teen idol scream fest then I'll spend a bored day in New Orleans and come home. No big deal.

I hold back on personal attacks, but there's enough clash over controversial political opinions to tide me over. I just got called out a few days ago for being a condescending poster, so I think I'm doing something right.

roommates often become roommates due to a link with another person. it was still something all three adults chose to do. no one made them live together at gunpoint.

That's what I was asking about. Dawg said something about her living with a new guy and I asked if that was something that was mentioned already.

This may be exactly how the rumor that I was a wh0re in high school got started.

I believe there was a mention of surgery and recovery.

ETA: I'm assuming there's some reason that mom is stuck there b/c why else would she stay, but maybe I'm coming at it from a place where people don't live with their children, much less their children's exes if there's another choice.

eh, i think that given what she has said in the past people are more sensitive to what she says now. but her post is positive and happy and nothing like freaking donkey. you can tell she loves her girls and lots of people joke about "she's got her dad's ears" or "she has her mom's stubbornness". people say that all the time
