DD = domestic "discipline" wtf?

Re: DD = domestic "discipline" wtf?

  • It is sexual.  I saw this blog icon and followed the website.  She submitted it herself.  Hard to tell whether she enjoys the attention or the spankings more.

    I think that is is completely a sexual thing. They are both getting off on it. and getting off on sharing the info.

    I am sure there are extremists out there and men/women who take it too far into abuse- but I think playing the submissive role, the I've been naughty role is a game.

    I think writing it becomes even more of a turn on for them because they see and read how others disapprove. The whole thing is a sexual fantasy for them.

    Just my opinion!

     No. I don't believe it is a "completely sexual thing." It would be one thing if she got something out of it, but she doesn't. Standing in a corner naked, being spanked more than 30x, and bruising are not sexual, pleasurable things. She told him to stop when it got too bad, he didn't. That is not pleasurable. It may be sexual for HIM, but for her it's just abuse.

  • I am absolutely horrified if this blog is true.  I don't think she even realizes that he is abusing her.

    Really?  I think this is a little naive.  Google, or even just Wikipedia, Paraphilias.  People get off on fucked up things.  Lots of people get off on pain.  That's not even that uncommon.  Not that it isn't totally WTF worthy, but to be so disbelieving that there are masochists in the world??

    If you really want your day to be ruined, google piquerism.

  • I think there's an element of BDSM in this all, but it is disturbing because in normal BDSM activities there is always a safe word and it can all end.  Despite the "punishment" aspects, the sub is in control enough to say when and stop everything.

    That doesn't appear to be the case here, which is what disturbs me about it.  I do think there's a sexual component, though.  And the people are too religious to do BDSM correctly because they think it is "bad."

    I get what you're saying. But if she is begging him to stop because it was too painful and he kept going, then what? Isn't that abuse? Hasn't it passed the point of pleasurable pain? If she even admits that she thought it was too severe?

    ETA: I'm not saying it doesn't happen. I'm just referring to this specific blog.

    Yeah, I definitely got uncomfortable reading it because it felt like abuse to me.  Your wording before just made it sound like you thought the line was a little more black and white than I think it is.

    Definitely not black and white. I was just talking about that case and I feel so incredibly bad for that girl.

  • I hope it is fake...but I am sure people do it :( It kept me up last night and bothered me during my drive.  I thought of so many things I would like to do if I some how could control the whole situation.
