Re: complaints/randoms/anything

  • I've been eating EVERYTHING in sight for the past week now.  Pickle must be finally growing that layer of baby fat.

And telling a poor pregnant lady who is stuck on hospital bedrest that she's "lucky" in any way is just asking for a punch in the jugs.

  • Fenton has Prader Wili Syndrome.  I do too.

I think I have restless leg syndrome.  WTF I didn't think that *** was even real but the past week I'v got this twitch in one of my legs when I try to sleep.  It's pissing me off.

Big Hugs Buddha, I hope you get your Zane back soon.

I didn't read everyone's elses complaint cause I have no attention span but I hope everything works out for everyone.

That made me laugh out loud, but probably not in the way dawg intended

  • Oh Katie!  I hope everything turns out to be okay and not anything serious.

My mom was totally like that when we were kids.  She didn't believe my brother had broken his arm for like 2 days.  When I broke my nose, by the time she took me to the doctor after a couple of weeks of complaining, it was too late to do anything.

Man, my mom is really not as awful as I portray her on her.  I promise.

  • We're supposed to go to a Padres game tonight with some friends. I may skip out and let Lorne go with Will instead. I'm tired, but I know I wouldn't go to bed early or anything...it'd just be nice to have some "alone" time. Evie would still be here, but she usually goes down for the night around 9. (Well, "for the night" means "up at 1 and 4", but still.) I've had like, an hour of time without kids or family or Lorne since Evie was born.

A week or so ago I realized that there was a "unblock nesties" link over on the side here, and I clicked on it. Apparently I had Dawg blocked? I must have it bumped the "block" button on my phone with my fat thumbs.

They're apparently having some sort of Roseanne marathon on Oxygen today and I'm totally watching it.

Katie - yikes. I hope it is nothing. Maybe it's just pleurasy (sp?). My husband said he's had that and it felt like chest pains. Fingers crossed.

Ding! Ding!  I should have just asked Dr AFSBCN.  Pleurisy it is (inflammation of the lung, caused by a viral infection).  Whew...

  • Awesome! Awesome that your husband didn't have a heart attack and awesome that I diagnosed a problem I've never even had.

I had pleurisy a few years ago. it hurt. I got better soon though.

I hope this board never goes away. Reading all the stuff on here about people makes me realize how much I consider you all friends. I can go to another board for entertainment, but I would hate to lost connections with everyone.

  • I didn't say she was lucky, I used "I feel" therapy language I see on TV.

I FEEL jealous Bermuda doesn't have to shower for days at a time and can watch TV for weeks straight.

Then she can say I FEEL like I wanna punch Fenton in the jugs, and that is healthy communication.

There is a GTG tonight for my local board and I'm carpooling with some people that I've never met. I'm pretty shy at first so I'm a little nervous but I want to meet people so I am going to go and hopefully have a fabulous time. I might get to meet Kristen!

About 4 years ago I decided to go to a GTG locally and this girl said she'd pick me up.  I said fine even though I usually like to drive (everywhere).  She came, her car stunk of cigarette smoke, but whatever.  Then we get there and she was like, "I have social anxiety so I took a valium before I picked you up.  I take them all the time though so it's no big deal."

I was like (to myself), huh? I wish you would have mentioned the valium thing before I got in the car with you.  If I took a valium I wouldn't be able to drive, so I would just like to know when someone is driving me around somewhat impaired and let me make the decision if that's cool or not. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to make a big thing before we're about to break bread together.

But, I just ate my hibachi and never let anyone pick me up again for gtg's.

    this is so dumb.  pfffft.

good thing you didn't say anything- she probably would have left you there...
