Hot apple cider sounds really good right now.

I was at Meijer last night and almost bought apple cider.  The sign said "Michigan apple cider" but when I looked at the jugs, it didn't say where it had been processed or anything about Michigan.  So I put it back.  Ha!  I'll buy some from the farmer's market instead.

Yes it does.  Anything warm does.  I'm freezing.  :)

I got some spiced cider while walking around at ArtPrize Sunday. I never finished it. It's in the fridge. Maybe I'll warm that up. I just finished laying down some vinyl flooring by our side entrance. The carpet that was there smelled bed and the people that flipped this house never even installed it. It was just laying there. If I ever find the people we bought this house from I will seriously consider violence of some sort.

Is that the only problem or are there more?  I hear more and more horror stories about flipped houses these days.

There were more. No insulation. No house wrap, they put pergo like flooring in but no sub flooring for it. To hide leaks they put tin foil in the ceiling and they dry walled over it, the base, net leaks some as well but we have that mostly taken care of. Our house is from 1935 so it needs so updating, but it seems like when we look at redoing something we discover something else that was messed up. Mainly they were just careless when they did do something even when it was simple like painting. I'm hoping we can rip up the carpet this week in the living room. I also have to try and find th locking handles for the main floor windows since they seem to be missing.
