As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Same here.
Re: wanting to have the same last name as kids, I had several friends growing up whose mothers had different last names than they did, and there was no mass confusion. However, I am amused by the number of people who assumed (without asking) that I would be taking my husband's name, despite the fact that I have a graduate degree and work in a field where it is more common to keep one's last name rather than change it.
