Brr it's cold. Does anyone else's windshield washer fluid freeze up when it's this cold?

For winter we usually buy the fluid that is good up to 10 below. We just have to remember that we can't push the gas tank past E because we have to let the car warm up.
And it's bad for your fuel pump to let your tank get too empty
This was me last Saturday....but I had a lot more to drink than 2 shots of Rum
Can you let me know what brand and color that is? I would like to get that... right now my lines are frozen up on the outside and my windshield is getting real dirty errrrrrr.
Tells ya how often I drink now.
Every fuel pump I've ever owned must be completely overworked, because I am notoriously awful at refueling before I'm practically running on fumes.
And Good Morning! I think we are nearly done Christmas shopping, but I still need to order Andy his goods. We had my nephew Jack's 1st bday party over the weekend and he's walking and clapping and smiling and the cute overload make me explode.
Ditto. Once my car sat in my driveway for nearly two weeks because I thought it was broke down. Turns out if just needed gas.
Awwww! T's been clapping and waving and is very close to walking. He took *1* step the other day without holding on to anything...lol. Kids are so cool!!
I don't think my fluid freezes up, but I think liquid gets in the back one and then THAT freezes. So all winter I get no fluid in the back

Good morning! I woke up at 10 AM...no work today! But a funny:
I finally talked J into getting family photos done. We haven't had pro pics done since we got married in July of 2008. I made the appointment for Friday at 10:30, because I always work until 10 in Big Rapids, where the photos are gonna be. I figured we'll save half an hour of driving in bad weather since I already have to be there for work, right?
I just found out I'm not needed for work on Friday
I'm gonna try to reschedule the time for later

Jack is still very wobbly. If you stand a little away from him, he can take the two or three steps to get to you but that's about it. Our friend's baby who is a touch older (14 months) came over and he was sitting in my lap, holding a cat wand toy, waving it at Wrigley and giggling like crazy. It almost gave me a heart attack.
I assume it's a smart phone of some kind? Maybe take it in to see if they can clean it up for you. I know sometimes there are apps/programs that run that you haven't been using that eat up battery life. It's not guaranteed to work, but it might.

I've decided to go back to school and switch careers.
I'm going into Social Work. I'm really excited about it.
I feel like I should be helping people, and in the job I have now, all I do is push papers and manipulate spreadsheets. There's no satisfaction from helping others.
I feel odd about it, because the money will be less, but I feel like it's what I should be doing.
Yay! Good for you! I think, if this what you really want to do, you will be very happy in the end. I have been toying with the idea of going back to school. But it is so hard to talk myself into it, I already have one degree that I hate and can't do anything with.

H finds out about his bonus today. I hope it is high - I would love a new dishwasher right now.
How long are dishwashers 'supposed' to last? Mine is 12 or 13 years old (original to the house.) Do you think it's ok to get a new one? I don't want to be wasteful, but the darn thing is rusted out and gross and doesn't clean very well.
It's not like an iPhone or Blackberry or Droid - no apps, but I can get on the internet and Facebook and email - is that considered a "smartphone"? I guess it's somewhere inbetween.
Yay go you. That is seriously awesome.
I don't know how long they're supposed to last - i've NEVER had a working one. It would be nice to have one though.
Mine was broke when I moved into my house, and I'm too cheap to fix it - I just wash my dishes by hand.
