Re: Put amusing things here.
It made me laugh a lot too, Winged. He's just so happy!
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
I've seen this mom three days in a row including today. I do not know her. She has a 9 mo old daughter. All three days the baby was wearing a santa hat. I thought it was odd, but then I thought maybe that's her "hat"- like her cold weather hat and she's being a little over-seasonal. But, the baby never took the hat off, even inside.
Finally, someone else is around who knows the mom and coos over how cute the baby is and how they love the santa hat. My ears perk up. The mom, wearing a giant gold bow herself on her ponytail says, "I'm doing this for the 25 days of Christmas- she's wearing the hat all 25 days. Sometimes if I distract her, she doesn't know she's wearing the hat". The other two moms were all...."Ohhhh...cute. So cute. Nice" (whatever- paraphrasing), like this is normal.
I found this amusing. Maybe I'm just bah-humbug and this is usual behavior?
11/11/11 = 5 years. Woah!
I find the hat thing dumb.
I also get annoyed when people consider the twelve days of Christmas to be the twelve days before Christmas, when it's actually the twelve days between Christmas and Epiphany. But, I'm one of those sticklers who puts two spaces after a period.
25 days seems...excessive.
I love Clockwork Ryker. Hilarious!
Loving "don't say words at me!"
Matt and I were just driving home and having this conversation regarding what song to listen to from my iphone.
Matt: I wanna hear bee soffin soffin
Me: Say wha?
Matt: Bee soffin soffin!
Me: Oh boy. Um....
Matt: Bee. Soffin. Soffin.
Me: Ok. How about I go through the songs and you tell me where to stop.
Matt: No....no....no...
Me: ::gah!::
Matt: No mom! Michael Jackson! Bee soffin soffin!!!
Me: OH!! Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'??
Matt: Yeah!!
Here is accompanying video from Thanksgiving, which I thought I had already posted!
Bob, apparently it's not okay AT ALL to laugh at someone for banning witchcraft and wizardry from the teevee. But it's just fine and dandy to tell everyone whether or not they are pleasing to the lord. And apparently we are not.
first thank you to the ladies that agree and the ones that would laugh too, well I will be praying for you!!! and they are MY kids and my DH and I decide what they will and will not watch. and oh yea Shrek is another one they WONT be watching. I mean it is fine with me with you wanna let you kids watch bad movies that like that should NOT be out there for kids to see, that is your decision but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. and watching those are not pleasing to Him!! thank you. and for those that just flamed me.... I pray the Lord is with you and your decisions!

That video is awesome Fitty! I love that he knows Michael Jackson. I had a similar confusing song moment with Will last week. We've been listening to my Christmas station on Pandora, so Will requests Christmas songs from there for his nighttime songs. Last week he asked for "that blue colored Christmas song." I didn't figure out what he was talking about until Elvis's Blue Christmas came up a few days later.
I bought two bags of Hershey's Kisses so I could make peanut butter blossoms for the office potluck tomorrow. I've been on vacation for the last two days, and when I got here I realized that the office potluck is today, and now I'm stuck with 150 kisses and no where to take cookies.
I am mentoring a guy at work, and I went to meet him today, and he gave me a Christmas present. It was a 56 ox. bag of Hershey's Kisses (!). So now I have like 600 of them.
I don't even really like them that much.

Don't you love that panicky omg-what-is-he-asking-for-i-should-know-this feeling. Sometimes I just have to give up, like "Dude. I don't know. Stumped here."
I am pretty pleased with Matt's taste in music so far. We don't listen to kid music, pretty much at all, but definitely not in the car, so he's ended up liking a lot of good stuff.
We also don't really do kid's music. He seems kind of indifferent to it when we've put it on, so we just do what we like. As a result, Will really likes Wilco (he calls it camel music because of the album cover).
Will has good taste
