Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Re: Battery Operated Toys
I am also a teacher and my 12 month old daughter has both kinds of toys. Does she love her wooden blocks..yes. Does she have toys that make noise and flash lights absolutely? She loves the toys that teach her please and thank you her letters and numbers...leap frog. I will continue to let her have these toys as she loves them.
I also know the harm of ADD and will moitor her and probably worry as I wory about all but it will not stop me from buying a toy. I look at the lights and bells nd think about how it will benefit my child.
