I bought king cake instead of ice cream

dammit I was JUST talking to SB about king cake and how I'm jealous of all the booze and parades and king cake and debauchery that Mardi Gras brings.  I want some king cake real bad.  King cake.  Just wanted to see if I could throw it in one more time, and yes, I could.

  • I'm hoping a king cake arrives from my MIL some day real soon.

  • I'm finally getting around to watching some of the brazilian episodes of Psych that are on our DVR, and when the eff did they chang the theme song?!?!  I was all geared up for my goofy couch dance and had started singing "I know you kn....whaaa?".  Serious. buzzkill.
  • 'Sup?  We're sitting on the couch, each on our own laptop, drinking wine and cleaning off the DVR.  I'm also sewing.

  • I was settling in for hour 3 or maybe it's 4 of my Friday night Criminal Minds marathon but the DVR has other plans. So you can all mock my H for recording Merlin while he's recording Spartacus.
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz
  • Shamwow -- they didn't change the theme song!  It's still the same.  Occasionally they'll do a special version, but that's it.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza that showed up with no pepperoni.  I was a sad panda.  But the replacement pizza they made was picture perfect, so now I'm happy again.

  • Shammy, was it the Twin Peaks tribute episode? (Dual Spires) If so, they made a special theme song version inspired by the Twin Peaks theme.

    Oh hi!

Im just looking up info on anal fissures!

    my butt hurts!

la la la la la la

::shifting awkwardly:: Soooo. What, um, sort of info do you need. You know, in case I know someone. Who knows something. ::whistling nonchalantly::

  • Thanks, Cali.  It ruined a perfectly good couch dance, though, and I don't think it can ever be replaced.

Also, I now want pepperoni pizza.  I'm very suggestable tonight.  Quick, somebody say they're eating an entire stalk of celery.  Or air.

No, I haven't even made it to that one yet!  I'm telling you, there is a crapload of episodes on here, and some are older.  There was one at the scarefest and one when Shawn was trying out his ninja skills, and some other one, and they all had some other lame-o song.  I didn't even listen to it once I realized it was different, I just hit fast forward.  I felt like I was taking crazy pills.  So I confess that I just skipped ahead to a newish episode from December just to watch the first few minutes to test it out, and the original theme song was back.

  • There's a joke in here somewhere involving Bethie's MIL and King Cake. I just know it.

I was trying to come up with one but all I have so far was BETHIE'S MOM (IN LAW) EATS KING CAKE.

  • We sent them a Kings Cake last year after they had to cancel their Mardi Gras trip. And it was MY idea. See how awesome and nice I am? I'm so unappreciated.
