I'm so disappointed in my coworkers. No one brought in Paczkis! I would have gladly picked them or something else up on my way to work if I had known no one else was going to. I guess I'll have to splurge on lunch today!

We painted the rental bathroom last night, and I hate the color.
I hate when that happens!
Maybe it will grow on you? I always have second thoughts about paint color right after I've finished. Typically I end up liking it though over time.
But you're not living there, are you? Maybe with some accessories it'll grow on you...
I think DS and I will make the 1-mile trek to Meijer (it's not too early for a jogging stroller, right?) and share a paczki...

That is my downfall. Even though I won't be living there, I still feel like it's a reflection of me.
My dad has been going to Home Depot and Lowe's with me and had to remind me more than once "it's a rental".

Bummer about the paint - I say if it still looks good you'll be okay - do a white shower curtain to add some lightness and call it a day. If it will really bother you and you have the money, paint it again.

Wow that is awesome! They would have been ginormous twins (well, they still are pretty big) if they would have gone full term. Dang! Well done, SIL. Congrats auntie!

My MIL just dropped off 2 pazcki for us. One is not going to make it til the end of the day.
Ugh this is ridiculous, I'm a mess.
H's best friend's sister has been in the hospital for a while now battling liver and kidney problems. We've hung out with her many times, H was in her wedding, we have actually hung out with her without H's best friend - we aren't super close, but close enough.
She was transferred to GR because Muskegon dr's said there wasn't anything they could do for her. GR doc's had different treatments to try, so they took her.
I guess they just told the family to go to the hospital because she isn't doing well. And now I'm crying. This really sucks.
I'm so sorry. Thoughts with you and all of her friends and family.

Juli - congrats on becoming an aunt again. I didn't realize you were going to be an aunt of twins. Are you close to your BIL and SIL that you will get to see the babies a lot.
Des &Mol - sorry to hear about your friend. That is very sad.
We just hired someone that used Comic Sans for their resume. I can't get past that. This person is very qualified, but it just seems so odd to use comic sans. I think this person had been at their job long enough that they probably never thought they would be job searching, but something happened to that business and they were out of a job. I'm guessing they didn't have a resumre prepared. I going to DD this paragraph in an hour or two so don't quote me on it.
They are a little over an hour away. We are going there this weekend so I can meet them, and hopefully we'll be able to see them semi-regularly. They have two other daughters that come to GR almost every weekend to stay at the in-laws so that makes it easier to see some of the group.
