I judge....

Another FB complaint: I HATE it when someone puts some cryptic status and then will not post what it is about when asked. Someone wrote "The WORST thing happened to me today ! " and when someone asked what, they put " I'll send you a message about it" . Ummm, hello ?!?!? If it's something you do not want to write in the first place, do not lure us into questioning what happened!

OH I agree.... I know WAY too many people like that.

Me too. I can remember being like 8 or 9 and my mom yelling at me for eating an apple. She told me I ate too much and needed to stop or I would get fat. Hello, bulimia!

My dad was one of the worst for this type of behavior. I didn't really suffer from any eating disorders, thank God. He did some things and said some things that were like tattoo words. They're permanent no matter how much time passes and fades them.

So true - I still remember what my parents said and did re: food. I understand that they are permanent however, you seem very well adjusted and grounded so good for you! :-)

    That's a good analogy. That's exactly what it's like.
  • I'm a judger...watch out now... :)

I judge people who have a bunch of kids from a bunch of different people. Men and women. I'm not talkin' a couple who was married, had a kid, divorced and hada kid with someone else. I mean these people who have 5 kids from 5 different baby daddies. Really? What the hell are you going to tell your kids when they start asking questions?

I judge people who take advantage of public assistance without even trying to do something to better their situation. You're sitting on your as$ collecting Food Share dollars, WIC, medical assistance, and other public aids because you "dont want to work"? Yea probably not. At least TRY to get a job. Something!

While we're on this topic, I totally judge those who use their Food Share dollars to buy shiit food for their kids. I'm totally giving you the side eye when you get in line with your grocery cart full of Banquet frozen meals, frozen chicken nuggets, hot dogs, soda, 3 kinds of juice and not a fruit or veggie in sight. It pisses me off that you more than likely (NOT always) have more than enough money on that EBT card to eat healthfully and probably better than most people who work and pay for their groceries. Cant you buy a veggie? I overheard a mom in the grocery store once tell her child he couldnt have an apple because they were too expensive. Her cart was full of frozen pizzas, soda, etc. BUY YOUR KID A GD APPLE!

I'll skip adding to the BFing stuff. I think most of you know how I feel about the subject.

I judge you if your kid is more than 18months old and drinking from a bottle. Sorry, I do. Take the time to teach your kid to use a cup. Kids are messy, get used to it. I judge you if your kid drinks juice or soda(especially soda) from a bottle. HELLO! No.

Most importantly....I'm judging you if you've had a baby and are sitting in front of me judging how I plan to give birth to MY child. Just because you opted an epi, doesnt mean I will. How the hell do you know what its like to give birth drug free if you've never done it?! Just because you dont agree with my choice of birthing class, my desire to someday have a home birth, my (researched) thoughts on delayed/selective vaccination doesnt mean you get to constantly tell me your opinion. I heard you the first 900 times you told me what you think about how you wouldnt feel comfortable birthing at home or with anyone other than an OB (2 things you have never even bothered to read about yet claimto be an expert on). Just because you're a mom, doesnt mean you know everything so back the eff off. You telling me I will probably cave and get an epi only pisses me off more and makes me more determined to do it and rub it in your face after the fact. Your labor is not my labor. Your pregnancy is not my pregnancy.

  • I judge the woman I work with who puree's canned vegetables to feed her 9-month-old grandson and sees nothing wrong with it.  I mean store-brand canned peas.

  • I judge people who drink and drive.

I judge adults who abuse (in any way) children/animals/elderly/etc (any one or thing unable to defend itself). This includes exposure to a life involving drugs.

I judge people who judge men or women in abusive relationships. Just because they aren't leaving doesn't mean they are bringing it on themselves.

I dont get it. What's wrong with that?

Canned veggies can be a decent alternative to fresh or frozen. As for the sodium content, maybe she's buying sodium free or risingthem well before pureeing. I see nothing wrong with store brands either.
