Re: Say Anything part 27
I feel very underappreciated and very taken advantage of. I think. I'm not really sure how to describe it. But I feel like everyone in this house just waits for me to do something, or say something, or make a call, or pick up the mess, or do the dishes or put the boy to bed, or do bathtime etc.
I just asked DH to put G to bed. Our A/C isn't working properly and I'm dying of heat. I worked a bunch cleaning G's room, going through baby stuff and organizing, then we had to go out and run errands. I'm just hot and tired and pregnant and puffy and sore and very cranky, so for once I wanted DH to do bedtime. You'd think I asked him to saw off his right arm with a rusty butter knife and beat himself with it.
I'm tired of getting attitude, nobody helping, the whining, the complaining and the "just wait it out and Kimmer will do it" air that's taken over this house. I might go on strike.

So sorry. I've been there before. And the last few days as well. Once, after explaining myself to DH, he said that it was because I did such a good job keeping up with everything, he just didnt think about jumping in sometimes. Not as an excuse, and he has tried to do more, but it was a nice explanation.
So... You are great at your job!
I hope things get better soon.
How dare you ask your husband to pitch in with his child's bedtime. That's atrocious. You have a LOT of nerve!! That IS totally equivalent to cutting his arm off with a rusty butter knife and beating himself with it. Duh.
{hugs} If it had been me with all those pg hormones running through my body, I probably would have snapped at DH. more {hugs} for you.
DH has these video games that plug into the front of the tv - they're old games like Ms Pac Man and Pong.
We played them once last week and today Cooper has been pulling them out of the basket, dragging them to the TV and trying to figure out how to plug them in. He got the plug close to the front and then went back to the controller, sat down and tried to play. I couldn't stop laughing.
Thanks everybody.
DH did do bedtime last night, and shockingly everyone survived.
You are wrong for being annoyed by this. :P
It's on, Darva. It.is.on.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I have to wonder if some people's mama's ever told them that if they don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.
She told me, but she was wrong.
You know. I just found out that there is a Patron that is coffee flavored
What would you chase that with?
People who think Patron is a "sipping tequila" have obviously never had true "sipping tequila". Patron needs a chaser, I'm partial to pineapple juice.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
Hugs Cindy I've been there.
I have the space heater on. I'm pretty sure it's almost April right?
I want to stab myself in the eye.
that's all.
ETA - that's never all. A nice alternative would be to drink heavily at lunch. But then I'd get fired. sigh.

I want this today too. And have passed by the kitchen a few times eyeing the wine and Bailey's bottles.
I guess I should be thankful I'd have to make a concerted effort to actually do it, as opposed to opening the bottle and guzzling. :-)

not sure what I would chase it with... might have to do some research. Tho I wonder if you could hide it in the coffee.... make that Mocha so much better on a day like I am having...
My dad and stepmom have it and say it's delicious in coffee.
That would definitely wake me up in the morning.
LOL no doubt. People are so much less judgy about drinking tequila in the morning when it's well concealed in a coffee mug
I think they mostly use it for after dinner coffee. Although, my stepmom works in a middle school with a bunch of heathens, so maybe she does spike her coffee in the morning....I know I would.

We have some. It is yummy.
Ha! I'd tell my mom about it, but... I'm afraid she might get a little too "free" with it since she drinks about a pot of coffee a day.
When was she supposed to be there? When she first started we agreed on 10..............last week it was 11 before she showed.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
I have no idea what time she gets to my house since I am not home when she comes. He did tell me she replaced her car, so that shouldn't be the issue.
