Re: Say Anything part 27
that's interesting. i mean, i don't think i could criticize either way. there's really no telling what the separate-family scenario would even be-- who's to say they would never tell the kid they have a twin?
i know people who adopted a little girl, and were contacted by the agency when the mother was pregnant again and wanting to give the baby up. they wanted to check and see if they were interested in adopting the baby's sibling (they declined).

I have been in tears pretty much for hte last hour over:
* Over 2 weeks of nap fights with M2.
* Stupid insurance companies and stupid eye doctor.
* Contacts costing so much.
* Fight with DH.
* Having so much to get done and practically NO ONE in the house making it easier.
* No one quite realizing how much I FREAKING DO AROUND HERE ARGH.
I'm DONE.
{hugs}
(( hugs )) I'm sorry. I don't have any helpful advice for you, but I hope it gets better for you soon.
Sorry, lady.
Hugs! I've not had the pleasure of meeting you but I can tell you do an awful lot!
Crazy Christmas Kids!
Ditto
My DH is pretty awesome.
Alex's preschool class is having career week this week. They asked parents to come and talk for like 15 minutes about what they do and maybe bring a visual aid to show the kids. They are 3 and 4 years old.
I said no because I am a criminal defense attorney, and well, I just don't want to talk to little kids about it. lol
DH is a tennis pro. He agreed to go, but instead of talking to the class and showing them a tennis ball he is taking two other pros up there this morning and they are putting on a tennis clinic for the whole class.
He even ordered them all little tennis shirts!
Alex is so excited to show off his daddy at school today.
I am surprised DH is doing this because those of you that have met him know he is pretty shy.
That is so sweet!
M&M, I'm sorry you're having a rough time, my friend. I don't think kiddos will ever realize how much you do, until maybe they're older and have to do the same things themselves. You have a lot of "big deal" things going on right now, I hope you are able to find some solace, peace, and happy... some little peace prayers going up for you.
that is so cute about the tennis clinic : )
I'm super excited today because around Christmas, i had to pay over $4k for data recovery on an external hard drive that crashed. the Pro Photogs Association has a trust fund to help small businesses with stuff like this, and I got a check in the mail for $1500!!! Really makes paying those yearly dues worth it!

That is awesome!
How great! That is so sweet that Alex is so proud. I love it.

Thanks ladies. I appreciate it. I think just sitting back and reminding myself that there is a lot of "big" stuff going on right now helped. And the fact that it won't be like this forever!
Having a great OB appointment helped. I love that baby heartbeat sound. Only sad thing is I couldn't convince my doc to move to Austin. hehe
KJR -- how sweet! Sounds like fun.
That is too cute!
My poor kids. When it comes to career day, they're screwed. DH could take a 10 key and talk about auditing and trial balances... BORING. I could take my Dyson and a print out of the nest.
kjr, that is so cool! Lucky Alex.
It is midnight. Why am I still up? I desperately need to go to sleep, but I'm still up, messing around.
My sister is joining an English-speaking book club in Berlin because she missed her NYC book club so much.
I'm jealous, I want to be in a book club.
It's just like high school. My sister's still the popular one.
I've always wanted to join one too. I just don't know anyone who has had or is in one.
I agree! hehe
You just never know who's reading.
DD... due to familial reasons. :-)
May DD this.
That sucks. Really selfish of him to disappoint Joe like that.
That's quite sh!tty of him and I don't blame you one bit for being upset/pissed off. I would be too.
I'm so ready to go home. I have been wasting time away here at the office and have a 1,000 other things I could be doing. 20 more minutes!
