Re: Say Anything part 27
??
I had two people say they were coming to class this week and neither of the showed up. It's frustrating.
How rude!
If I had time to read, I'd love to be in a book club.
The Easter Bunny just scored a brand new, never been on concrete, already put together bike on Craigslist for $30. Thanks Craigslist for saving us, er... him.. about $40 and an argument about putting it together
We also put up the crib this weekend. There hasn't been a crib up in my house in a little over a year.
I am so excited! We had our home visit with Houston Boxer Rescue yesterday and we were approved (not that I was really worried about it... but it was still exciting! lol).
Sometime this week or next we'll meet Redd in person. His lil face melted my heart when I saw him online, I can't WAIT to meet him in person! We're all super excited to be adding a furry family member!
Like.
This. I was able to read a little on Saturday night since we were all 4 in a hotel room and had to have the lights out and tv off so the kids would actually go to sleep. I got to read for about an hour and it was fantastic!
Crazy Christmas Kids!
My niece is about Cooper's age. But my sister somehow managed to read 3 books over the weekend. I'm not saying that you should have time to read. I just wonder how the heck she does it. I don't even have a child & I can't find that much time to read. Next time she calls I'm going to ask her if she's doing crack.
Eh, mine is priorities. Not that I could read 3 books in a weekend with a toddler, but instead I opted to edit photos and blog last night instead of reading. I don't have a book that I'm into right now and that makes a difference. I need one I can't put down. Instead I'm just eh about it and I haven't gotten past page 20. I also usually decide to fold laundry, clean the kitchen or watch a little TV with DH instead of reading.
So yeah, ask her where she found time for 3 books...
Three!? I guess when I first started reading the Twilight books I pulled that off in a week (not a weekend) but I didn't have Samantha then. Now, I get about 1 every 2-3 weeks in, especially now that we have soccer practice. Micaela takes Sam to the playground, I "watch" Kaitlyn practice and read. LOL
I'm super impressed with 3 in a weekend. lol
To be fair, it's not like War & Peace was one of the books. It was the Hunger Games Trilogy. They're a quick read, they took me less than a week, but again, I don't have a child.
What happened with the fellow?
Everything is ok there. Divorce is finally final.
I just hate being at home alone. Was fine with being alone before I married Corey. And now that he's gone, I hate being alone. Guess I am just missing him and missing Dusty right now. And wishing that I could be with fellow all the time.
I have this cool uncle that I just met a couple of years ago. He and my mom were both given up for adoption (they are a year or two apart) and were the 3rd and 4th kids, respectively, of a couple in California. My mom dreamed her whole life that she had a little brother and it turned out to be true. She found her birth mother through a professional in So Cal who does that and coincidentally he contacted the same locater who recognized the family name because she keeps in touch with my mom on FB. So he and mom met via FB. He's an amazing guy and had such a wonderful life with his parents in ways that wouldn't have been nearly the same with my mom's parents. And strangely enough he has always had a passion for NM - which is where my mom grew up. It's like the universe kept them connected even though they weren't raised together.

I think I broke my right foot. The pain I'm having when I walk, is very similar to the pain I had last year when I had a hairline fracture in my left foot.
bleh.
I haven't read many books since Joe was born and I used to be an avid reader. I am just now getting back into it and have found a couple of books that I like.
right now am reading Blue Bistro and loving it. :-)
Yikes! That's not good.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
I couldn't open it because I was on my phone. Then I came home and I just read it. Harmony is an @sshole.
It's cool to be crazy. Just ask Charlie Sheen.
What part of "Really sucks to be crying at my desk on a Monday morning. Thanks RANTS FROM MOMMYLAND" made you think it wouldn't make you cry? Just sayin'...
On a related note, I did crawl into bed with Avery last night and snuggle and cry for being a crappy mom sometimes. I have to remind myself that she is only 3.
