Re: Say Anything part 27
I guess you're right!
Aw, thanks very much for the kind words!
Agreed!
Ditto!
I thought it was going to make me cry laughing. That blog makes me almost pee my pants most of the time.

Ditto MB. I've never read that blog and did the ugly cry. Until today.
On an unrelated note:
I just found a bug on one of my kitchen table chairs (one that I've been sitting at almost all afternoon) that made me cry. Bugs of any sort terrify me but this one was ON MY CHAIR. So I did the completely rational, calm, mommy thing and made G sit on the couch, opened the back door and threw the chair outside, all while making some crazy, half crying, half screaming noise. That chair will not come back in the house until DH gets home and inspects it to make sure any trace of bug is gone.
How's that for crazy, CMK?
#1 ~ I had to just skim the post because I was afraid if I fully read it, I would become a blubbery mess of tears. I still became a blubbery mess of tears. OMG.
#2 ~ somehow, I haven't discovered Rants of Mommyland yet, but I am already hooked. And laughing my a** off at her description of sending her three kids off to get different ingredients for her lasagna at the grocery store, and how one of them bit into 20 tomatoes to find the right one. Dying.
We are approved for the house! Waiting for the lease to be written and sent to us for signitures.
Oh my goodness. So exciting.
I so agree.
That's such great news!! Congratulations.
PEOPLE - the very next sentence of my comment was warning my new mama friend that her hormones couldn't take it.
It really is a great and hysterical blog. Love those gals.

Never too early. Nor for this:
Hope your day is better.
Hope it gets better!!!
UGH UGH UGH.
My sister and mom have been taking care of my grandmother (mom's mom) for a couple weeks since she fell. My grandma is just awful.
Now my sister is leaving and going back to her life. I can hardly blame her. BUT she's started a huge blow-up fight with my grandma before she left. Just because she was fed-up and angry. Sure, but what in the crap was picking a huge fight supposed to do? My grandma is 75... not like she's going to change her ways today.
So now not only does my mom have absolutely NO freedom and cannot go home for the time being, she has to deal with my grandma after a huge fight. AND may not get to see us at all before we move, even though she's all of 10 miles away. And probably won't get to see us when we come down for Easter.
I'm heartbroken and sick by this situation. I cannot help since my grandma smokes in the house and I'm highly allergic/asthmatic when it comes to smoke. I suggested to my mom about getting her a nurse or putting her in a home that can take care of her for awhile, but she said that my grandma wouldn't have it and she'd hear about it the rest of her life.
UGH. I just hate this situation. I have no idea what to do or how to help.
I have no idea what to do about this situation. Or, more accurately, I can't do anything. And it just SUCKS. My poor mom.
Vent away. We are here. I can't imagine all that's happening at the same time for you right now.
only if I can sit with you and have a bourbon and diet coke while you eat your pie and ice cream.... my week has been stinking.... so we could commiserate together.
Wow - you moved already!?!
- Paula Deen to 104.1 KRBE's Producer Eric 9/17/2011
we moved in on March 14th! We closed on the 24th of February, but we didn't list our other place until a few weeks before we closed.

Ditto
I need to practice some more patience with my DH. He's recovering from jet-lag from a 30 hour trip, so he is completely exhausted. He can find the energy to do fun things, like dinner with friends & watching the basketball game last night, but no energy for boring stuff like chores or packing.
I was just in this position a few weeks ago. I get it, that's how it works. Fun stuff gets your energy going. Packing/chores do not. It'll just be this way for a few more days. I need to remember that & be patient.
I'm not good at being patient.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
Ahh Cindy I hope that's not the case. We are figuring out putting one in. Two seems very hard and I commend those of you that make it work.

I think I'm the only one that doesn't give two biscuits about the Royal wedding.
