Re: Say Anything part 27
I DID. I'm still bothered by it. It happened Saturday and it's now 3 mornings later and it's still bugging me.
It's sadly not my craziest dream by a long shot. But it IS the craziest one involving my child, which is why it probably bothers me so much.
Harmony - redundancy has its merits, I guess!

I really want to throat punch this little know-it-all HR Generalist who keeps trying to tell me how to do my job. He talks to me like I don't know how to do or even understand his. Ugh, been there, done that, sort of had my current role created for me because I rocked his job when I had it. Shithead.

Crazy Christmas Kids!
Hopefully with some rest she'll be 100% in no time. Plus, you've still got 2 full days for her to recover.
Bwuahhhahahahaha!!! Sorry someone is getting on your nerves.... but this made me laugh.
Ditto!!
Thanks ladies!
MB -- That's a crazy dream. If I have time later, I'll write up the crazy one I had the other day involving nesties. Only Harmony was on my side and the rest of you went insane. So thanks Dream Harmony.
Nanner22 -- Sucks. But yay for being a SAHM!
Kreeper -- Yeah, I hate fighting with the girls in the AM too. It makes the whole day bad. So sorry. Know that he forgets it way before you do.
I just planned my lunch break for Friday.
I'll be going to Target to pick up the newest Harry Potter movie. Squeeeee!
Bet you can't guess what I'll be watching Friday night???
let's just say K might beat me to it. Then you'll know who I'm talking about.

How could anyone not be on your side?
Awwww. But I have an example... the whole moving to Austin thing. ;-) j/k M&M
Actually M&M, there were some nesties in my dream! I didn't include that part because they weren't the nesties I'm closest to. In fact, none of the Pearland/southside nesties were there. That almost made it worse - finding something so life altering and having acquaintances (not close friends) in the other room at the same time.

Sadly enough I have the same thing planned. Along with picking up laundry detergent and a few other things. Such an exciting Friday night for me
Ok dream analysis time.
Supposedly (according to the interwebz), if you dream about a hermaphrodite it symbolizes confusion about identity or sexual preference, adaptability, ability to see both sides of the argument, unwillingness or inability to choose options in a decision, or the idea of trying to be everything to everyone.
The nesties in my dream were CCM, Jess, Viula, Clare, and there were others but those 4 stood out front. There were like 6-8 over for a playdate or drinks (sort of morphs in my memory). Sorry to use first names and not nestie names, but I'm using material from FB in the next paragraph so by using real names you will know who these people are if you are FB friends and I won't be outing their own information in my post here.
It occurred to me as I listed out the ones I could remember, with CCM being the most prominent, that all 4 of us have 4 year olds (unless I?m aging Joe, in which case I?m sorry!). CCM has been posting on FB about R behaving in a certain way, and I?m struggling with the same. I asked myself this weekend, ?where did this child [crazyM] come from and what did she do with M??
So I?m thinking that my dream played out my anxieties about the fact that M is growing into a new, difficult phase, and I have to adapt to that, but also teach her how to control some of her behavior. I might also have been wondering self-consciously if it would be easier if she was a boy hoping that would mean she wouldn't be so dramatic.
As for the ?my pee pee hurts? and all that, she has had constant irritation ?down there? which has gotten a lot better lately, to my great relief. So maybe that got merged in there for that reason.
That's my best guess.

same here
how strange... and yes, that could all make sense. :-}
oh an if you think boys are less dramatic... you should see mine.
I have no idea who CCM is and I am curious.
I'm guessing me. Am I right?

Tequila & a straight razor.
Yes - just didn't want to say, "Cindy" if you hadn't been posting the same about R here as you did on FB. Your posts on FB give me sanity though! Makes me feel not so alone!!! M is being so difficult lately - angry tantrum one day and then sad and whimpering another. All appearing to be trying to be in control of the situation through one method or another. It's exhausting.

You are SO not alone. LOL DH is convinced that Kaitlyn is bi-polar. She can be the sweetest little girl and then all of a sudden she's having a complete melt-down (still complete with kicking crying screaming, etc) and we not know exactly what set her off. I'm so ready for this phase to be OVER.
Our girls are almost the same age and I've found this to be true. The closer they get to age 5, the more and more you see the behavior improvements. This pre-K year with Sarah has been wonderful and I'm definitely looking forward to the summer with her. I used to dread summers but not this year!
She probably needs a sprite, I hear that helps with back pain
Apparently so does lunch.
