Re: Say Anything part 27
Your reaction was priceless, but sadly I didn't get a picture.
I was upset with myself for not getting a picture!!
I just snorted at my desk from trying not to laugh. Now my co-worker wants to know what is so funny.
Nope, no pictures but I will remember it forever.
I am still so thankful that he was actually there to deliver pizza.....
Someone (a family member) sent a text message to DH a bit ago asking him if he could file an income tax extension for them.
A) it's late afternoon ON TAX DAY. Are you kidding me??
C) He doesn't do taxes. He hasn't done taxes in 3 1/2 years. And he's never done personal taxes, ever, he's always done business returns.
So annoying.
TurboTax will do an extension for free. Takes 5 minutes. Tops.
I really need to vent. This will probably be deleted later.
I am SO unbelievably frustrated with my job. Not so much my actual job, but the fact that I may not have a job by the end of the year b/c our developers can't seem to get everything pulled together and get features implemented that customers have been asking for, for 2 years. I've been working on this project for 3 years... when my team was a part of the development process and we were testing the product, we pushed development to put in things that were needed and we got the testing done quickly and correctly. The bozos they have up there doing that now can't seem to pull their heads from their butts long enough to understand what the customers want/need out of the product. So... b/c they've hired incompetent people and b/c they have a "project manager" who isn't managing anything, I could end up losing my job b/c I'll have no "product" to support and administer. JUST FREAKING AWESOME!
I am so over always being the bigger person. My step daughter's mother deserves a big FU right now. Our next weekend to have SD is April 29-May 1. DH gets a text today saying that she scheduled SD's joint birthday party with the neighbor for 4/29. Nevermind the following:
1. It is OUR weekend, ***
2. SD's birthday was in March, so there was NO reason it HAD to be on 4/29
3. We already bought tickets to the Dynamo game for 4/29
When DH reminded her that it was our weekend she replies with "oh, I forgot (yes, because an almost 9 year old court ordered visitation schedule just sneaks up on you). I guess I can cancel the party"
NICE-so our choices-be the a$$holes who force the party to be cancelled or have our plans f-ed up because she is a selfish heifer who can't think. Again.
We are not forcing a party for an 8 and 9 year old to be cancelled, just in case there was any question on that.
So.over.it.
This will probably be dd'd later.
Great, so you get I for Easter then?
Yay for diagnosis. Boo for CF. Yay for being back on the charts. How is he feeling?
He's doing really well. He's learning to swallow pills, to make everyone's life easier and to hopefully go to preschool in the fall. He's almost potty trained!!! We were starting to wonder if it would ever happen. He's also taking swim lessons. He's just like any other 3 year old right now.
I am so very very sorry! I am glad that he's on the growth charts though and that he's a typical 3 year old right now. many hugs and prayers for your family!
O'dear... I'm sorry you are, again, having to be the bigger person! That just flat out sucks!
I might kill my husband. He's been a big fat prick all week because ... he's sick. really dude? you have a sinus infection...
"I don't think you understand how much pain I am in!"
really? I am 38 weeks pregnant. GET OVER IT!
Kick him in the nuts. Then he can complain about pain
Yes, do this.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
I like this suggestion!
.All week long... I have left early... like WAY early because it was either him OR me in the office. men are such babies. (not the word I really wanted to type but it would censor me!)
dude. sinus pain sucks. even if your wife is pregnant, i'm not sure it would make your head hurt less.
that being said, sinus infection does not give you free reign to be icky to your wife, pregnant or not.
and also, how the hell did you get to 38 weeks so fast?!?!?!? i keep seeing you on fb thinking "man, she just told us she was pregnant like, YESTERDAY". i can't wait to see that baby!!!
my photography blog
HS drama(literally HS stuff) makes me want to bang my head against the wall.
my photography blog
Kick him in the nuts with spiked, pointy shoes... REALLY hard for me...
how horrible!
The last few weeks have been hades. My Boss has been out on leave for the last six weeks. Right before Fiscal year end. The time of the year that my work load just flat out doubles. With him being out, it quadrupled. I have been so stressed out, not sleeping, heartburn, etc. I am so glad he came back on Monday. So much so that I am taking a sick day tomorrow... I need a mental health day.
Yesterday I sat down at 8 am. I got up for the very first time at 3:30 pm because I had to pee and I was hungry. Damn Deli closes at 2 pm. That's how hard I worked.
I hope this is all remembered at bonus time and review time.
The Man Cold has nothing on the Toddler Cold. Shoot me.
Or pour me a shot.
We have the same issue in our house. I am hacking up a lung and DH is whining about how bad he feels. Um, dude, you haven't even coughed, sneezed or anything. STFU.
