Re: Say Anything part 27
We don't keep it on the rolls around these parts because it is too much fun to pull it off. But really, when we did, it didn't really bug me when it wasn't put on. I keep it close enough that grabbing another roll isn't a hassle. You should really just get some kids to follow you to the bathroom every single time you go and then you can just have them fetch new rolls for you.
LOL
bhahahahahahhaa! so true so true!
we have luckily passed the playing-with-TP stage... but when connor was little, he too enjoyed accompanying me to the bathroom. it was odd at first, but he liked to play little games in there and would have gladly fetched more tp if we needed it!!!!
unfortunately their bathroom is a small one, and the TP is in the linen closet (which is currently a trainwreck because i am evidently the only household member who can put a blanket on a shelf, not just throw it in the closet). definitely not reachable from potty range! i stacked a bunch of it up on their shelf, though, just in case.

Aw, I'm sorry! I'm sure that spending the evening you and T will make it all good for him though!
today's high was supposed to be 70, yeah whatever.
Maddie told me today she was going to get me a banana for Mother's Day. LOL!
So we decided to make our trip home this year during Christmas/Hanukkah instead of summer. I am SO excited! Cooler weather! (I'll be happy even if it's just in the 70s!) Christmas is celebrated here, but it just isn't the same. People don't spend the day with family and friends and all of that. In fact, Christmas Day is one of the biggest shopping days of the year here.
So we'll go to Houston, and then stop to visit SIL in San Francisco for a week or so before heading home. I've never been to SF before either, so yay!
I'm getting really frustrated with work. I'll be in a meeting with my department management & upper management. One of them will suggest a new way of doing things & everyone gets all excited. Upper management will say something like "We can't wait to see what halfpint comes up with to accomplish this!" Later that same day I approach my department management with the changes/action plan we need for the new way of doing things. Department management says we're not going to worry about said changes after all & just keep doing things the way we always have.
Fast forward a month. Dept. Manager comes running into my office wanting to know where project stands because upper management is asking for an update. I remind him that he didn't want to implement any changes/new policies. He says, "I guess we better do it after all. Work up a presentation showing how new changes have impacted the department in the past month. Have it ready by tomorrow afternoon."
I actually laughed when I read your post - but it must be frustrating!! Sorry!
I have just found a private school/homeschool combo that I'm completely in love with here in Austin. They are teaching along the same methods that we want to use and are only 2 days a week until 6th grade. The rest is done at home.
I need an extra $250 a month, plus $600 registration fees. I know it's nothing compared to daycare/MDO/other private schools, but... it's too much for us.
Le Sigh.
yay!
I feel like I'm getting sick again. But I don't think I ever fully recovered in the first place either.
I feel like poo...

Maybe it means you will go into labor soon. Just a thought/
Crazy Christmas Kids!
I was thinking the same thing!!!!
I wish. 0 progress.
However, homeboy is breech, so we're going to try to turn him. If he won't turn his birthday will be 5/11/11. That's in a week from today.
Everyone feel free to panic with me.
I'm doing a happy dance.
Don't panic! I hope Dr. G is able to get him turned around for you!
Crazy Christmas Kids!
Well, external versions usually have about a 50% success rate. And mine failed... so you can have my other 50%!
Turning vibes and prayers for you. Along with feeling better prayers. And non-panic prayers.
Though, I know what you mean. I'll be 27 weeks tomorrow and am already starting to panic. Whose idea was it to have 3? ack.
Thanks
I said the same thing to DH today. I was crying in the parking garage because I'm so freaked out and excited and nervous etc. DH was asking me what I was panicking about already and I asked him 'who said we could have two kids?' sometimes one is overwhelming! two is scary!!'.
Not to be Captain Obvious, but it's a little late for that.
My real freak out came right before they wheeled me into the operating room and I had a full blown anxiety attack complete with puking everywhere because I was flipping out about having another kid. It was awesome.
Uh, I thought you were going to adopt B to save him from the horrors of my parenting. The wet diapers and such....
I am selling him on eBay and heading to Disney World. Do you know how much $$ I can get for a blonde haired, blue eyed boy??
I hear the new squishy ones go for $$$$$$.
I'm using my next (very small) bonus check to buy meat.
We finally decided to buy a processed cow and split it with a few people. The pro: I'll have beef for about 6 months. The con: I'm spending my bonus money on meat.
When it rains it pours. Can I get some prayers, good thoughts, vibes, whatever for my family tonight?
My niece is at TCH probably for at least a few days, it appears she is diabetic. In a bizarre coincidence my mom also seems to have become diabetic in the past month or so. My kiddo is sick (just a virus so not a big deal in comparison) my DH is out of town for a BIG BIG job interview and we leave for vacation on Saturday.
ETA: Oh and my dad is in Poland. Really universe? Really?
YES. And LOLtastic, or anything else-tastic. Fantastic is the only acceptable -tastic.
