Hi there! Welcome! I'm Renee (NeeNee) and am the old lady of the board. I'll be 36 in a couple of weeks. H will be 39 this year. We married on 9/19 and have been together 6 years. I'm usually late to the party and don't contribute as much. The ladies here have a pretty good head on their shoulders when it comes to advice.
H and I live outside of Boston. I'm an Exec Asst & H is in food distribution and a professional drummer. We have 2 furbabies, Marcus and BB (Butterball). They are old and we spoil them rotten. Marcus, H and I were on TV (Cats 101). He is a Russian Blue and he has been living with diabetes for 7 years! We recently decided to TTC. We'll see how that goes. My eggs probably have gray hair and walk with canes

I lived in DC for 10 years and once had a pretty cool career until I realized how much I hated the political machine I was working for. I moved home and now I just make a living serving my boss who I refer to as Dragonlady.

Hi and welcome! I'm Marion and am 26. My H is Patrick and is 27. We were married 9/27 and live in VA outside of DC. I'm a software engineer and Patrick is an IT consultant. We have one dog, Olive (see below) who is an Australian Shepherd mix. No kids yet, but we're going to start trying once we've saved up a emergency fund.

When it comes to other boards, I guess frequent is a relative term - I am on The Nest all the time, but haven't posted on other boards very much. I am a sporadic poster on Married life, but have also hung out on the Nest Book Club board, Relationships, and lurked on the Decorating and Renovating board.
I'm not a foodie - but good catch on the name! It is a play off of Julia Child's name, but I changed "Child" to "Mild" because I don't enjoy cooking and I'm not good at it. Since I made the screen name, I've picked it up a little more and have improved, but I still don't enjoy to cook. My name IRL is Tiffany

I'm Tara. H is Craig, we both just turned 30. I'm an advertising compliance analyst at an insurance company and H also works for an insurance company as a corporate lease negotiator . We live in Omaha and have two big, fluffy Ragdoll kitties, and a rescued black lab/beagle mix. We're expecting our first baby any day now!

I'm usually not this late to a post! Welcome to the Niners! My name is Emily (24) and my H is Matt (23), we also got married on 9/12 in Maryland where we grew up. We've been together for 8 years this September so that makes us high school sweethearts. We moved down to the Outer Banks of NC 4 years ago just for a change of pace. I'm a waitress and Matt works at a hotel. We have two kitties, Bear (huge black panther of a cat) and Tippy (tiny little grey/brown tabby/torti mix). I love to sing in the car and dance when I have the house to myself. We went to Hollywood for our Honeymoon, so you could say we are tv/movie people. I scrapbook and paint when I get in the mood. I love to read, but haven't found anything good lately. I use exclamation marks a lot, which makes me come off as a crazy excited person all the time and I can't spell worth a darn. I'm all about food and cooking it (baking is my specialty) and I was quickly becoming a wine snob, until I found out we're expecting our first baby in November! I'm so glad you found us, I think you'll fit right in.
