    what sort of assh0le uses "I just don't want to be married anymore" as a reason to leave your wife? It makes me want to...I don't know... just do something to him. (btw of course it's not DH). It's not even like I'm on the wife's side-he's the guy I've known for 30 years! idiot.

    That was what my ex-BIL told my sister.  She later found out he cheated on her too.

    this guy just got a job managing a pub. I'm willing to bet that infidelity is in the cards too. he has all these fb comments from girls lately and he's cheesy flirting with them. I just feel terrible for his son and wife.

    There are 2 guys I know of who pulled the same crap on their wives, turned out they were both cheating....shocker!!  (not with each other by the way)

  • Do any of you get in a funk that lasts a while?  I'm not depressed or anything, but have just been feeling blah about everything.  Extra irritable and easily annoyed by everything and everyone around me.

    Also, I started reading Twilight for the first time and I'm a little embarrassed by it.  It's consuming me way more than I'd like.

    Any correlation in the two?

  • I am not a fan of frogs (in person anyway). Last night I had a weird dream that involved pools filled with mostly dead things (dead water based things) and a particularly bloated dead frog. Different people kept picking the frog up and throwing it at me, they would find me where ever I went and throw it at me over and over. It makes me want to gag to think about but I can't get the image and feeling of it out of my mind.

    Yep!  It's embarrassing, but once I started reading the Twilight series, it kind of consumed me and it was hard to focus on anything else for a while.  I don't know how it is that Stephenie Meyers managed to write a series that does that to GROWN ASS women, but she did!  I think because when you're in your late 20s/30s/40s, have kids and a family, responsibilities, etc etc...remembering that teenage passion you had for whatever guy in your life at that time (or guy you lusted after) really makes you nostalgic.  Being an adult can be so damn hard, and remembering what it was like to be a teenager in love/lust is fun.  It just makes you remember what that feeling was like...granted, I never fell in love with a vampire (to my knowledge, LOL!), but there were always those "pie in the sky" guys who gave you butterflies, and when you finally got to be with them...that's what reading the series did to me, anyway.

    And yes, a lot of things irritated me around that same time I read the Twilight series.  It passes, I promise!

  • I'm going to get screwed.  I took my car on a work trip because I had heck getting a rental during OTC.  We have to mapquest every freaking stop and turn in the mileage.  If it doesn't equal, they take the maps mileage.

     I was in Austin.  Do you know how many extra blocks I made becasue I had to loop around and find a fvcking parking spot???

    no. I remember you said edward was cute. I took myself to see water for elephants last week, he's pretty good in that. If it's not just the vampire thing I'd check it out.

    I feel this way too at times. DH will ask me what is wrong and I usually respond, "Nothing yet everything".

    Yeah, I went through this a few weeks ago.  I'm tired of making the menu, clipping the coupons, making the grocery list, buying the groceries.  But if I left it up to DH we'd be eating hot dogs and spaghetti every night.  My taste buds overruled my need to take a break.

  • I'm sorry Sweet Thang.  {{{Hugs}}}

    Cindy I feel the same way sometimes and I've let a few things go.  They are still sitting there waiting to be done.  Sigh.

    I'm over these family pictures. I've had to book the photographer, pick the location, figure out what every one is going to wear and today was the last straw with picking the time. Being local I fully expect to do some of these things but not all! I sent the contract to my MIL along with the payment info and she was supposed to take care of it. I followed up with photog last week and she had not sent it back in. Luckily she was still available and my MIL claims she just hasn't looked at her email lately. We did tell her it was coming to her. Then I had to figure out what colors and what not for everyone to wear because MIL didn't care and just thought everyone would wear whatever. She suggested I talk to SIL who says that she doesn't care either so we figure that out. This morning we finally pic a location and we are working on time. I ask SIL since she has a baby but she doesn't care and can do whatever we need. I just want someone else to have an opinion or make a decision!
