Kathy,
What is your biggest fear about being a parent?
What are you most excited about?
Michelle,
What was your favorite place in Europe while you were on your business trip the last few weeks?
oooo Thanks for asking this as I wondered when I saw it then forgot and need one for the pool.
Same here....no questions are coming to mind!

How about a generic question to all Nesties?
How do you guys manage your time during the week?
I work a straight 8-5 M-F, no kids, no drama. Pretty simple. I just work, work out, cook and/or eat dinner and then it feels like its time for bed. I feel like I need to work out more, but I already go straight from work to the gym, and by the time I get home it is already 8.
I'm just really overwhelmed all the time because it feels like I have no time to just relax anymore.
Wow, there are so many fears, I don't know how to pick just one! LOL.
Here are a few:
1. If we will discipline /bring them up right. I know I had very strict parents that didn't let me get way with anything, but at the same time, I feel as though because of the way they brought me up, I never wanted to do anything really bad partly because I knew better based on how I was raised and partly because I didn't want to disappoint them. I hope we can be just the right amount of fun and strict, so that that our kids grow up to make good decisions and be successful at life.
2. I know life will never be the same again. This is slightly selfish, but I know we will lose a lot of our freedom and for a good long time to come, the baby will take our entire attention/focus, but I guess we will just have to adapt to that.
3. Child birth. And physical recovery.....
Most excited about:
Sharing the bond of bringing a life into world with my husband. Seeing his interactions with the child; he loves loves loves children as do I, and just all the little firsts with the baby.

I also work M-F 8-5 and have no kids, but I have three dogs...which is actually sometimes like having kids! :-p I come to work, work out (if I'm not being lazy), make dinner, and then we do something until it's time for bed. We play video games or watch TV or something like that. I also don't feel like I have a lot of relaxing time.

I feel the same way with no kids or really any life so I have a lot of respect for the parents out there for sure.
I get up around 5:20 and then workout before work (if I dont do it before I usually wont afterward). I work from about 7:30-5:30ish M-F I get home usually read or watch some tv then eat dinner, shower, read a little more then go to bed by 10 at the latest (unless its a bad night). I also am adding in some school right now in the evenings so I really feel like unless I give up my hour or so of reading or tv I cant do anything else and that time to relax I really need.
Sarah, is that your natural hair color?
How do you guys manage your time during the week?
I am up at 7, at the gym by 8:30, at work at 10 and home around 7:30, IF I can go straight home and actually leave at 7, which is rare. Once home, I cook dinner, eat, clean the kitchen and if I'm lucky can sit down and watch some TV before falling asleep. Lately I've been trying to read the book club book so I'm not asleep until around 11 or later. Every day is a long day for me. Probably why I am always tired.

I feel like I really struggle with time management. I always wonder how I can make more time/make the most of my time during the week. I get up at 5:30, leave for work at 6:40, work til 5, get home around 6 and then I try to go to bed by 10:30. That really only leaves me with 4.5 hours of time...to eat, to work out, to cook, to run errands, visit with friends, watch TV, read, blog.
I just don't know how to reduce my daily "have to's" to make more time. It is the dang commute that KILLS me.
Aw, so sweet.
As far as time during the week, Tiffany I remember that feeling when I worked 40 hours a week. By the time I got home, worked out and ate dinner, it was time to go to bed.
Right now, since I'm in school, I really just go week to week. I try to balance my time between studying, DH, and working out. But obviously during certain times in the semester, studying is going to take the majority of my time and most other things will take a backseat.
I was in Zurich, Amsterdam, and Groningen. Amsterdam was definitely my favorite. IT was beautiful with all the canals and river boats. The history, buildings, cobblestone walkways were awesome. But then there were people everywhere. It was more crowded than I ever saw in NYC, and it was weird walking around and smelling pot around every corner. We walked up and down the red light district, and that is just crazy to think things like that go on, AND are so public. Plus we went out and partied one night until the sun came up, which is not my style at ALL, but I had a blast listening to all the old school music they play in the clubs.
Groningen is a small college town 2 hours NE of Amsterdam. Almost like a smaller more laid back version. Zurich was beautiful. They keep that city immaculate, but unfortunately I didn't get to do much sightseeing while there.
Bobbileigh, what do you like best/worst about living in Texas?

I have a relatively simple life.
I work 8:30 - 5 M-Thurs, 8:30 -3 on Fri. My commute is 10 minutes each way. After work I sometimes cook, sometimes work out, sometimes watch tv or read. Or sometimes we go out with friends. It depends on the day. Really, very simple. I have one dog and no kids.
Ben works 3-8 3 nights a week and all day Saturday. He is off 3 days a week. He works 1/2 the hours I do and never goes to the grocery store--he won't even get milk unless I beg him to.
He does a million other things though and I'm not really complaining but there are some days I would LOVE to see him: work out in the morning, work an 8 hour day, go to the store on the way home, come home and put the groceries away, and cook dinner and clean the kitchen just to see how he feels at the end of a day.

I am SO scared when I start actual school in spring and try to manage a FT 40+ hour a week job that I am going to go INSANE. Especially since it will be for the next 5-6 years I feel like the madness hasnt even begun but I am already wishing it would end.
Unfortunately no :-( But I have been dying it red since I was 13 and most people say it looks natural. :-p

What's your natural color?
Right now I am studying to take the board exam to become a CPhT (certified pharmacy technician) and my goal is to sit for the exam (and pass) before my yearly review in September.
In spring I need to start taking basic classes to eventually get my BA in business. Since I will be working a 40+ hour job the entire time I will only be doing 2 maybe 3 classes a semester. It will take a lot longer which I am dreading but know it will help me in the long run of my career.
It's like a dirty blonde. I think a have a picture of it on Facebook somewhere.

How do you guys manage your time during the week?
I also work 8-5 or a little after. Mon-Thur/Fri and I'm off every other Friday. DH and I have the same schedule, which works out nicely. When we get off we normally come home. I cook, eat, watch TV, play on the internet, clean up and hit the hay. I would love to add working out in there somewhere and if all of you can then I should be able to. I just have no motivation, which is not good.
Sometimes we will run errands, go to a movie or right now car shop. I also like to spend time with my neighbor and her twins so I go over there sometimes in the evening.
To Any Nestie - How do you get motivated to work out? I've never been a work out person, but I probably should start. :~)
How do you guys manage your time during the week?
Not very well I'm sure.
I have to be at the HS by about 7:30 AM and my class starts at 7:45 AM. After I travel back and forth to one of the other schools, I come back to the HS for the rest of the day. I teach straight through from 7:45 AM to 2:15 PM and by then, I have to get out of my room. Sometimes I leave by 3 PM so I can get home to do a few things and also to beat all the UNT evening class students. Otherwise, I don't leave until about 4:30 PM. Some nights there are school events but, on typical nights, we eat by about 6:30 PM (which can be too late sometimes for my poor stomach). Bill leaves a bit after I do (6:30 AM for me at the latest) and gets home a bit after me too (6 PM usually). By the time we eat and put stuff away, it's 7 PM and we both just want to die I think.
