Re: Say Anything part 27
I love amazon reviews. have you all ever seen this one? it's classic.

I've seen the other review. My favorite part is the Pros/Cons list!
Yes. That one is awesome.
We had some Cristo Rey students a few years ago. They did a lot of copying for us - they were probably bored! lol.
I have never seen that. Hilarious. For more shits and grins, if we ever go out drinking bring a printed copy and I'll read it out loud for you. I cannot pronounce Wolf. I hear the L (it's a soft one) but everyone else hears "Woof." If that isn't funny enough for you, do a shot every time I 'bark.' :-P

It's hard to give them much more than that. HOWEVER I know know that Cristo Rey trains them VERY WELL on powerpoint. I had them animate one of my presentations. It was for a 3 hour training so there were 37 slides. Not having to animate everything was awesome - between 2 of them I had a first draft and corrections done with very little effort on my part (it could have been a couple of hours of work I didn't need).
They do get bored because I give them a lot of scanning (trying to get rid of decades of paper and do electronic archivals - snore).
But they're really sweet kids, most of the time.

Well, that pisses me off. I just pulled out a shirt from Gymboree that Cooper probably wore 3 times. It is ripped to shreds. No other shirt is damaged. I didn't overstuff the load or do anything else different.
$15 for a kids shirt that will be worn 3 times is a little out of my price range. I emailed Gymboree, but I don't expect them to do anything.
That is awesome.
Being class mom is such a thankless job. Bleh. The things we do for our children! Honestly though, it's been nice to be so involved in Hannah's class. I know she was proud to have me around so much.
But if they ask me again next year, the answer is a resounding NO!
I've actually had a problem with 2 shirts from them recently, both after the first wash.

Me too! My brother drove to Austin and back yesterday to spend the day with my dad for his birthday. I'm so exhausted, I really want to crawl under my desk and take a nap!
I got a shirt from there recently. It was a white polo shirt with a basketball on the side. The "trim" in the inside around the neck and little side splits was orange. I washed it as I do all other clothes and it faded all over the white shirt. C never even got to wear it. I'm so mad as it was the cutest shirt.
This makes me wish my kiddo didn't have a January birthday, that would be such a fun place for a birthday party.
That sucks.
What happened?
Hugs! Guess this week isn't looking any better then last for you.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
I'm sorry. I really hope it gets better soon.
Short version - this chick screwed up. And if she doesn't do what she said she was going to do, then I have to go to my boss. And even though it wasn't my fault, it will look really bad. All over something someone else did.
Crazy Christmas Kids!
Yea!!!!!
No rain at our house either. It realllly loooked like it was going to rain yesterday, too!
Kreeper.. I'm so sorry you're having a hard time.
It sounds like you all need to bark up Gymboree's tree!
I did one of those wine-and-painting things last night at Cork Soakers. It was so much fun! I had some hecklers at the bar behind me, and the banter back and forth was highly entertaining.
I could go for painting happy hour once a week. Then DH's office would be full of his wife's crappy paintings...lmao
